Comparing almost any franchise to mgrr just isn't fair, the characters in that game are capable of withstanding and imparting forces that tear apart buildings. Even a generic cyborg from that game would be an absolute beast in the cyberpunk universe.

Even if Sandevistan is capable of fast movement, characters like Raiden, Sam, Monsoon and etc. have insane reaction speeds, so even if Adam used a Sandevistan to get close, he won't be able to hit them. Even if he did land a hit, nobody from MGR would suffer as much as a scratch from him. Raiden has tanked missiles and tackled building sized machines with no difficulty, Sam did the same, Mistral pulverised metal objects like nothing, Sundowner tore up entire radio towers and used them like baseball bats, Monsoon could literally self-amputate himself to avoid damage and Armstrong's nano-machines are nigh-invulnerable even to high-frequency blades like Sam's Murasama, that is pretty much the strongest blade in the entire game. Adam stands little to no chance.

The people who designed Raiden's sword and body likely considered the possibility that he would face magnetism at some point in some form or another, and likely planned for the scenario by having specific countermeasures in place to prevent him from being affected by it. The same could likely be said about Adam Smasher, which isn't to say he would be able to defeat Monsoon.
