Truthfully, when it comes to the episode, those songs are from.
The songs are so in integrated into the story itself, probably be simpler for him just to react to the episode.
Lunas future is amazing
Without the context of the whole episode and the context of the show as a whole pinkie’s present is deff the other best one. They’re all great musically but some of the others need more understanding of the characters or at least the specific Christmas carol theme. Pinkie’s is totally enjoyable with no context.
My favorite song of the whole show is "A Kirin Tale". It's really fun and upbeat and the vocals are incredible. "Smile Song" and "This Day Aria" are great, too.

These two, plus Remembrance, are my three favorite fan songs.
"a glass of water please" is a fun song, very silly. Also, "babs seed" and "hearts like horses" are real strong songs by the side plot characters and both are very catchy.
This day aria ,Starlight Glimmer and season 5 episose 1-2 are best

It's technically not from Friendship is Magic, but the spinoff My Little Pony: Equestrian Girls, but the song 'We Will Stand for Everfree' has always been a big favorite of mine.

We have songs in nearly every style and genre, so, so many.... and all of them done by Daniel Ingram, an utter beast of a composer.
Best songs not covered yet? A Kirin's Tale, Winter Wrap Up, The Magic inside, and of course, THE Pinkie Pie Song and pure joy and happiness in audio form, The Smile Song. Also on the EQG side, My Past is Not Today, Welcome to the Show are both epic.

Ahh, I don't comment on TH-cam often, but as a long time fan of this show, it's so fun to see others get into it for the first time and discover how wonderful it is. I loved your last video and this one was great, too. To answer your questions from the beginning...
1. I think my favorite Mane 6 might be Rarity (the white unicorn) and Applejack (the southern orange Earth pony). I also love Spike the dragon since I'm adopted, a lot of his episodes really resonate with me.
2. All of the songs in the video are fantastic! As for what I'd like to see, Rules of Rarity is not only one of my favorite songs in MLP, but one of my favorite songs ever. 🙈 And it's extremely underrated in the fandom!

With all these good songs, I’m very surprised MLP hasn’t won more awards in the music section. Only a 2013 Leo Award for Best Musical Score in an Animation Program.
And the rest are 3x Nominees for Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Original Song (had 2 nominees in a single year and all 3 times lost to Madagascar) and 2x Leo Award Nominations for the category already mentioned

In the main series I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite song. There are so many good ones. THough I think the very last song of the series is one of two that made me genuinely cry.
Other than that the one that mobved me the most was actually the opening son from the fourth movie in the spin-off series Equestria Girls. 'The Legend of Everfree'. The chorus aside, every word of it has been the biggest questions I've asked about my life as a whole. A meaning to exist.

My biggest concern in life has not been dying one day, it's the idea that nothing I do will have made a mark on the world. I will just be one of the countless trillions of human history whos name and life is forgotten. I'm not so egotistical to hope I'd be a star or a genius scientist or some great philosopher, but I'd like to have something I can put my hands on and say 'yes, this is a piece of me with my name attached that can be remembered. Not by all, or even most, but by some at least.'

Flawless means the world to me out of context from the meta episode. That song is one of my favorite things ever. I grew up with MLP as a kid. And I’m such a perfectionist, this song is such a comfort to me.
Definitely need to give "Youll play your part" a listen. The harmonies are heavenly.
So many good ones it is hard to pick a Number One Favorite. Uplifting? Villain? Epic? Calm? So different.
And my favorite character goes to the Rainbow one.

Believe it or not, that pony was voiced by Kelly Sheridan, who has voiced Barbie in a number of games, films, and other media since 2001.
My favorite songs are This day Aria, The pony I wanna be, My past is not today from Equestria Girls and The Cafateria song also from Equestria girls and my favorite characters are Fluttershy, Apple Jack, Rarity and Sunset Shimmer.

My favorite song would be Smile, sung by my favorite pony Pinky Pie(not really my true favorite but it’s a bit of a spoiler)

But my favorite song is "I'm a countess" sung by a character called RARA a play off Lady GAGA. One thing you will see during the show is it references everything.
Contextually I like "Pinkie's Lament.". I also really like "Smile Smile Smile." which doesn't require as much context.
Some of my favorite songs are definitely spoiler heavy. I'd much rather you not get spoiled, especially now that you've started the series. At least, it seems you've started the series. I suppose its possible that you are only reacting the first episode or 2, but sincerely hope you do more than that. Lol

The "Big Spoilers" are pretty major events that could ruin some aspects of the show. The "spoilers" are ones that you may not understand are spoilers without context, but will be once you do get the context. Also, some videos, for some reason, insert clips from other parts of the show in there as well, which could also spoil.
Sorry if its seems like I'm a little over the top. I just really like this show and hate it when reactors get spoiled. So I try to be really careful.
1) my favorite pony in the entire show has to be starlight glimmer! For so many reasons that would take forever to type lol. But out of the main six, my absolute favorites are applejack and pinkie pie. Again for multiple reasons. Also as a side fact, my favorite princess is Luna.
2) I have so many favorite songs from the show but one that I would absolutely love to see you react to is Luna‘s future.

My recommendation of songs to check out would be “The Magic Inside of Me,” “A Kirin’s Tale,” and “A Little Glass of Water.”
I would really love if you reacted to You'll Play Your Part from mlp, and Battle of The Bands and Under Our Spell from Equestria Girls. It would also be awsome if you reacted to some fan made songs like Lullaby For a Princess and The Moon Rises. I have been a fan of my little pony in about season two when one of my classmates in high school would not stop telling me that I acted like Pinkie Pie. And now I am doing voice acting for a my little pony fan project, called MLP new generations by Looking Glass productions, as one of the main characters in Mistral Moon the student of Princess Twilight Sparkle. As for my suggestions for my favourite songs are you’ll play your part, smile, make a wish it’s your birthday, Apples to the Core and you’re in my head like a catchy song (beyond adorable love song)

Why there is so many people lately who want to spoil the major surprises of this show to themselves and their viewers by reacting to just random songs from the show without context? If you've heard a song or two and you liked it already, then just start watching the show and react to the songs as they come, in their proper context. Trust me, you'll understand more this way, and you'll enjoy it much more, after all the buildup that leads to them. (And I've seen that you started reacting to this show already, in which case reacting to more songs might be risky, because many of them contain major spoilers for later seasons :q )

My favorite MLP song is Open Up Your Eyes! In my opinion it has major Broadway musical vibes.
The show itself isn't exactly a proper "musical" show, there's a lot of slice-of life episodes and action-focused premieres and finales in the many seasons of the show, thought here are what I'd call "Musical" episodes, where at least half the runtime of an episode is dedicated to songs like the last one on your video. The episode itself is MLP's take on "A Christmas Story" with just a bit of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" as their version of Scrouge is trying to get rid of the holiday entirely. Each of the three Ghosts get a song along with the 'Scourge' as you saw, as well as an opening and closing song reprise, so, "Musical Episode".
Lullaby for a princess and The moon rises, not technically from mlp, but it’s about mlp and are such good songs

Say goodbye to the holiday is good, in the episode it’s sorta like the characters from the show are putting on a play of their version of A Christmas Carol

That second episode was actually taking a shot at all the fan groups when the episode aired. That episode ended poorly for the main characters.
You should do "under my spell" from the spin off movies of this series called Equestria girls
