- The most beautiful place I have ever been in the mountains, this place blew past all of our expectations, it truly is the crowned jewel of the Canadian Rockies. It took us 4 attempts, but we made it!

Thank you Doug! We’re so glad too haha, that extra 7 miles in the dark would’ve been brutal lol, marathon in the mountains
So happy for you finally making it up there and then getting decent weather for some amazing shots that you could share with all of us. Thanks for sharing.
thank you so much David! What a day
Ahh, glad you managed to get there after all those attempts! Looks like a beautiful hike. 🔥
Omg one of the best hikes ever. What a great day
Best day ever. We finally made it lol
Well, I've done this hike and it is very beautiful but I don't think you want to do it like this. First, it is not impossible to get a shuttle - it is harder now with the lottery system, but back in 2019 when I hiked it, I just got online right when it opened and got 4 tics, no issue and this was for ~July 8 or 9, which is actually a bit early to hike. Anyway, you can camp in the area, kicking horse campground is only about 2 or 3 miles away from there and they have an overflow area even if you don't make reservations at the main campground. It is completely doable. Get the very first shuttle if you can, then you have plenty of time for the hike. We hiked most of the upper trail and to be honest, the Yukness ledge was the most fantastic part. In any case, you can get shuttle tickets, there are cheap places to camp, even a campground up at the lake if you want to stay overnight and do a lot more exploring. But, the whole thing takes planning in advance.
That's just good old fun. Great vid.
Thank you so much! Nothing like a good day in the mountains with friends

Hi, wondering which lens did you use on the opabin plateau? I’ll be there later but wondering if need to bring a 16mm or 20mm. Thank you
I think our main lens during that time was the 16-35mm 2.8
I walked in hail twice at Rocky Mountain National Park.
It happens, hopefully it wasn’t too bad
@@KevinEassa I just got cold and it only stung a little bit. I wasn’t wearing a coat since it was summertime.
What makes it the most famous?
I only wish
Beautiful footage! not sure you need to say that in the title for clicks, its far from the most famous hike in canada
