I absolutely love BLS & Zakk's solo music! Evertime I hear or see Zakk play this live - I see the videos of Zakk & Dime hanging out together & I cry like a baby! Thank you for reacting to this song!
This song makes me cry like the day Dimebag Darrel died... Jakk lost his friend we just lost an idol, he suffers way more than us! This song is full of pain and love!
Another great reaction to an amazing song & a soul wrenching performance. But this is how we celebrate a life. & Zakk lays his soul out so openly here. A Master performance. I have a request for another Black Label Society, live performance. From the same channel you found this one. The song is, Sold My Soul - (Unblackened). That is a song I use all the time to help me out of those dark places in my head. It reminds me that I'm far from the only person to ever feel that way, & weirdly that helps lessen the darkness. I hope everyone has an amazing week & much love to everyone from here in the UK (added on my 2nd watch) Do you notice that Zakk almost unveils his guitar to the crowd & everyone starts cheering. There is a reason for that. That is indeed a VERY special guitar. Dimebag had it custom made for Zakk years ago. That guitar is akin to a Holy icon to the band & their fans.
Thank you for the reaction Andrei and Dominika another outstanding one!!👍 Glad you guys liked the band. There is a regular music video to this song but you don't get the long guitar solo from Zakk Wylde is why I picked the live video. But you do get some piano playing with it on the original version. Black Label Society was chosen in reference to Zakk's love for Black label Whiskey. All the best to you two and I'll keep sending the new bands. Keep up the great work!! 🎸
Zakk Wylde, the lead singer for this band, is immensely talented. He can shred, make the guitar weep, play the piano like a master. He can play just about any kind of style, and play it with feeling and class. All while looking like a Viking. He sings blues, southern rock, and heavy metal styles, all with different vocal tones and styles. If you want some suggestions for different songs, I'd recommend "The King" from his Book of Shadows 2 albums. "Stillborn," both the acoustic and the electric. "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow," the Unblackened version. "Lovin' Woman," from the Pride and Glory album. Also, "Toe'n the Line," from the Pride and glory album. An Instrumental that really shows off his skill, though, is a tune called "Farm' Fiddlin," where he goes through various play styles. It was done for a guitar magazine. And for the record. Yes. He was shredding while drinking a beer in this video. Man worked hard for that skill.
Also....Dimebag was the guitarist for Pantera. One of Zakk's best friends. He was shot on stage by a crazed Pantera fan, blamed for the breakup of the band. There is a performance he does on piano, and I will link it here. Just as gut punch to the feelings. th-cam.com/video/bMJl3omqWPw/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUiemFrayB3eWxkZSBpbiB0aGlzIHJpdmVyIHJvY2sgd2Fsaw%3D%3D
I keep adding things. >.>. Another song he's written for a lost friend. "Throwin' it All Away." It was written about Shannon Hoon, the lead singer for Blind Melon. Do believe it was a friend he lost to a drug overdose.
And sir, you are doing well, corrupting your wife like this! I did the same to mine. Heavy metal is not just heavy because of the noise. It's the content. They sing about things other genres don't dare, with a frankness other genres don't dare, and a poetry other genres rarely match.
Zakk Wylde one of the best to ever play guitar in our lifetimes, such a special artist. He played in the crowd in front of me (like really in the crowd! )at the Diamond Ballroom, so cool to experience.
this has been on my favorites list for nearly 20 years. rip darrel and vinny. pantera was a staple of my childhood. my dads favorite band. by the end of this im in tears. and every hair on my body is standing tall. thanks you guys for reacting to this. its been awhile since ive heard it. 😊
'Black Label Society' is a reference to the label on a bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey. Zakk is living a sober life now but used to embrace the Rock n Roll lifestyle with the best ... He signed on as Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist when he was 19.
Never like Zakk with Ozzy Osbourne...but I saw him past december Live with Pantera...now is guitar of the band and Yeaaaah...!! Great work of Zakk!! ..his Black Sabbath band Tribute "Zakk Sabbath" is AWESOME too!
Pd- I saw Dimebag Darrell 3 times live with Pantera on 1997-98 and yes, a marine shoot them and kill him on stage...2004, I think remember he was a great guitar from Texas.
I would like you to react to a Spanish singer her name is Diana Navarro with the song "sola" in Salamanca. She has a very particular voice with incredible melismas always transmits when she sings. She is very versatile as she sings different musical styles. Greetings.
Watch his version of this where he is solo playing this on piano. I would suggest listening to it for yourself not neccesarily as a reaction video, you'll be in tears from start to finish And that aint a bad thing 👍

That intro is mostly all improv, he's just speaking the emotion with his guitar
True Rock Star ⭐
That was a great reaction
All the love❤ from morocco
Zakk Wylde joined Ozzy Osbourne in 1987 just before he turned 20. He's the guitarist that Ozzy has used the major part of his solo career.

Check out the accoustic live version of stillborn (black label society) - Is absolutely beautiful

Please react to Black Label Society - The Last Goodbye. The song is about Zakk's late father.
Luky man Mr. Merchant
There is a song by Juan Gabriel and Natalia Jiménez to which you should react is called "si quieres"
Watch his version of this where he is solo playing this on piano.
I would suggest listening to it for yourself not neccesarily as a reaction video, you'll be in tears from start to finish
