You always go above and beyond fixing up these homes by repairing doors, fences. Whatever is needed your eye catches it and instead of walking away you just do it.

So many of the other lawn channels don't talk to us, they talk AT us. There's a huge difference!
There's a company in UK, Flawless Cleaning, that take on free jobs like this, specifically older, disabled people who, for whatever reason, are unable to maintain their gardens and property. They have moved on to big, multi visit projects, forging relationships with the clients. Their current one has had five visits/videos, not only clearing a huge garden that was completely overgrown, mending a roof, replacing a rotten deck and window. The latest part is raising a Gofundme to replace a broken down, unsafe conservatory with a bedroom/wetroom for the bed-bound wife, so that they can spend more time together and she can see outside.

not to mention all those american lawns are depressing, nobody there has any idea how to take care of a garden.
if this was east europe the boat would have been long gone, and depending if it was a trashy neighborhood or not others would have done something about it before it got this way. we have very tall fences here that block view and teens often burn old buildings for fun, then the mayorship buldozes everything.
These are the type of clean ups I like. I've been watching many mowing and edging videos and ready for something new. There are many illegal dump areas, junky abandoned properties, and so much trash all over. Thanks for being a great asset to your community.

Quick Cuts does this too. Repairs fences, steps and sagging gates. He'll pick up all the trash and he takes it away. So incredibly satisfying! I've stopped watching a lot of the other lawn care channels because of their sloppy habits.

I've recently fallen down the rabbit hole of lawn transformations on TH-cam and I have to say that I appreciate you going the extra-extra mile of making the minor repairs on the homes as well. Such a nice finishing touch. You all give me such hope in humanity!
When you completed the driveway I think I heard (👏) clapping from neighbors 😊. Or maybe it was from me. And then onto the back yard. What an amazing job as always. So proud of what you do for the neighborhood and the community and letting us be a part of it.

who would buy that and not buldoze immediately? it's an americans stick house, there's no structure to save. it's just rotten wood.
not to mention it looks like one of those elderly neighborhoods that is dyeing. I doubt anybody will want that space, but at least it's not harboring as many tics and rats that could get the neighbors sick.

I’ve seen plenty of other lawn care videos and they do always clean it up, take it away or put the good soil in the flower beds. They all do an excellent job.
They must do it off camera then because I'm sorry to say that the ones I've watched do not. I realize the soil will eventually go back into the ground but it looks unkept by leaving it on the grass. A few pick it up but a few don't unless as I said they do it after off camera.

@@JMarieCAlove the ones who do throw the dirt and clippings on the lawn usually believe in mulching with it. Some say that the rain will take care of it. Others mow all clippings back into the lawn. One mower says that's how they do it in his state. With abandoned lots that is reasonable. So many of our reactions are based on local customs.
I always throw the edging soil on my lawn. Once I hit it with my mower, you would never know it was there.
The nice thing is that you don't just clean, you also fix broken things, great job

@williamcollins6647 How do you know that? I’ve watch a few other lawn care and repairs and I’ve never seen any old boats in a driveway. No other videos from people doing lawn care had any old boats to remove. Lol
Maybe laws are different in Michigan, but I don't understand how you had the right to take the boat. It belonged to someone.

You are a hard worker for one man a one man team it helps when you hav enough machines with you for 10 men like myself i am doing gardening this last 26 years unfortunately my father passed away 8 years ago i just do landscaping now on my own
I had to chuckle when you were dragging the dear and then said, "What the heck was that?" the heaviest lawn ornament ever! Ha ha ha!
I love that you actually clean up the yard (in that you don't just mow and leave the grass on the ground). You not only clean up the yard, but you fix up the buildings and fence when needed. The buildings look so much better when you leave. I like to watch some other videos of this type but you go several steps further (they don't even shut the doors)

Your work is always above and beyond. You take the effort to remove trash, make small repairs, and haul away debris. I am so happy for you to see your channel growing so well. I get mad when I see thieves posting your videos as their own. They get comments on their stolen posts about how kind they are and what a beautiful job they do! These abandoned homes are so haunting. Whoever once lived there had a really nice little set up. It's sad to see it decaying away with everyone who loved it gone, who knows where ... Lovely job cleaning it up ❤️

My late son (46 and passed away recently from severe complications with his Multiple Sclerosis ) took on a project boat in 2015. It was a 16ft Harley half cabin cruiser, it took him 9 months to turn a wreck into a sea worthy vessel. We enjoyed many a days fishing in it. BTW, love your work, the clean ups you do are epic. Kudos to you.

You and George on Quick cuts are the only ones ( and Shawn Blade Mate) I’ve seen haul garbage and to do such a complete job on a yard! They also fix things like you do! Awesome job! As a retired lawyer and former trial court judge, I would think twice about giving away big ticket items like the boat. The boat belongs to someone who might come looking for it someday. You don’t need the headache/liability.

in the Danube delta ppl stop paying their boat fees when they die, so family often pretends they didn't inherit it and hope it sinks so they don't have to deal with it.
if the paperwork and legislation was more manageable ppl wouldn't let stuff rot as badly. one tiny boat like this can be a bureaucratic nightmare where I am.
