Great reaction! One of my favorite Epica songs. I love their use of choirs as you mentioned. They contribute so much to the wall of sound and the epic feel of their music. I would vote for Unleashed live from Retrospect concert next and then follow up with Unchain Utopia from Omega Alive show.

the essence of silence is not a quiet song at all 😄 these breaks from Simone's high notes to the very hell of Mark's growls are magnificent. The song is a real roller coaster. Another similar song they have is "victims of contingency", it has an official video and live video from an online concert in 2020 🤘
