Jinjer is a Ukrainian band, and Tatiana is the singer. Spiritbox is based in Vancouver Island, Canada - but singer Courtney Leplante is originally from Alabama. So much great music from both bands.
Thanks so much for the info!
Oh shit, Courtney's from Alabama? Thought she was Canadian too.
@@killianray6859 Her family moved to Vancouver Island BC when her mom fell for a guy from BC.

We have such Jinjer sights to show you…
Truly exceptional band in every way. Each member is a master at their craft.
Pisces, Perennial live at Wacken, Judgement and Punishment one take vocal, the new song The Green Serpent, Someone’s Daughter, Vortex, Wallflower (a remarkable introverted masterpiece), Teacher Teacher. So many…
Great recommends... but you forgot Who Is Gonna Be The One(Live)!!! =p
Pisces coming soon!
Soon? Or did you already watch it but it got somehow blocked?
Oh Girl... you are in for quite a treat going down the Jinjer rabbit hole. Pisces - Live studio session... Perennial - Live at Wacken... Judgement (&Punishment) - One Take Vocals... - to get ya started. We were at LTL festival. All 4 days. It was in the midst of Hurricane Helene and Day 2 was cancelled due to high winds and being unsafe. But the bands and crowds were there in droves and gave it their all for the other rainy 3 days. We were treated with this absolute gem of a song. The crowd went apeshit crazy when Tati (who performed later that night) came out on stage to sing with Courtney. Even tho Tat's mic was a little low. It was EPIC! They harmonize so well together and their dual layer screams were AMAZING. If you ever get a chance to see either Spiritbox or Jinjer live... DO IT! both are amazing talents, you won't be disappointed! - have seen them both multiple times. Thank you for another wonderful reaction!
More Jinjer incoming soon!
Ah this live video is AWESOME. Spiritbox has been my favourite band for years. We have all been wanting to hear Tati and Courtney together for years :) Tati requested to do this and she did it with no rehearsal :) Spiritbox is from Canada. Jinjer is from the Ukraine. Best song to listen to get a full understanding of Jinjer is their studio live "Pisces" ;) Spiritbox does full scream songs, vocals only songs and mixes of the two like this one. My fav full scream is "Holy Roller" though "Cellar Door" is also very popular.
If you love Jinjer's deep growls you may also appreciate the artist Daedric, who can also sing like an angel and belt like a demon. Her song "Alchemy" is a great example.
Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
@@Abigirl_Reacts Christ, the same old recommendations. Pisces is abut 8 years old as a song. The video everyone recommends is from 2018. Jinjer have developed way beyond Pisces; listen to the newer stuff, they're about to release a new album so new songs are dropping.
@@Flesharrower EXACTLY, @Abigirl_Reacts you have to hear On The Top live in Kiev, prepare yourself
Tati (and the rest of the band) is a wonderful person. I had the pleasure of meeting her twice. The first time was one of their first tours in the States, in a small venue, and the second was a sold out show in Nashville. Both times she (and rest of the band) was incredibly kind and humble.
I'm so happy you got to meet them! ^_^
I first heard Tatiana growl and scream on TH-cam about 8 years ago and it stole my❤. The Jinjer rabbit hole has been one of the best musical thrill rides. The Tati, Courtney, Spirit Box collaboration has been one of the best unrehearsed performances of 2024 both women are friends in real life and have a great chemistry together on stage. I would recommend any Jinjer’s live performances in Kiev. One of my all time favorites is their song “Who is going to be the one”.
Added, thanks a bunch! ^_^
Jinjer is the BAND (they are all from Ukraine) and Tatiana is their vocalist, and she's a complete monster vocaly. I don't think I've heard a female with a lower scream then hers, she's fantastic!
Courtney is the singer from Spiritbox, who also has a fantastic voice and scream.
They are both metal bands but quite different if you ask me, I love them both.
From what I've heard about this performance is that it wasn't rehearsed at all, and it's still one of the best things to happen in 2024 in my humble opinion! Truly awesome stuff from 2 absolute powerhouses in the metal scene today!
Thanks for the info!
Tati is the most badass woman on the planet....... Courtney is a close second. Seen both ladies front row multiple times. Tati has no equal, the metal Gods have blessed her and she sits at the top Olympus for all to worship.
I’ll be seeing Courtney and Spiritbox perform in 3 months and 21 days when they are touring Chicago. I will definitely be feeling the presence of the Metal Gods when the band is on stage and as Courtney shines like a star, it will most certainly blow me away.
That's quite the talent!
Cool said. But If Alissa White-Gluz read this now, she would have something to answer)
Thanks for the reaction. Tatiana and Courtney are both very good. Both bands have new songs out. Jinjer songs to check out would be a very long list but their newest is called Green Serpent. A couple older ones might be Perennial Live at Wacken Open Air 2019 or On the Top Live in Kyiv.
Pisces coming soon
I have yet to see Spiritbox live, but Jinjer 4 times. Tatiana is absolutely magnetic as a front person, it is hard to take your eyes off her. The rest of the band are fantastic musicians as well
I'm so happy you got to see them live! ^_^
Technique 1A ❤❤❤ that Bass tho
Thank you. Tati is awesome and so is Courtney. Spiritbox is from Canada. From my former hometown of Victoria BC to be precise but she had just a touch of a southern US twang, so probably moved there from the US. You could buy a coffee from Courtney at a coffee shop a few years back ... look at her now. Courtney uniquely blends growling with her (traditional) singing voice. You can hear that really well in her one-take of Circle with me towards the end of the song. Tatiana is something else altogether.
This was well said and informative, thank you!
Both bands are awesome with some progressive tendencies, Spiritbox having a more industrial feel with less fusion of different genres, Jinjer is a bit more old-school in their sound with a bit more progressiveness and fusion of genres such as jazz and reggae. I would say that Jinjer typically has a heavier sound, even though there are certainly heavier Spiritbox songs and lighter Jinjer songs. Jinjer's bassist, Eugene, has described Jinjer as a "progressive groove-metal band", and I find that very apt.
Courtney is Spiritbox's vocalist. She was raised in Alabama, but moved to Victoria, BC, Canada as a teen with her mom. She has said in a recent interview that she resented having to move to Canada at the time, but she now appreciates the less conservative culture there. She and her boyfriend, a born and raised Canadian guitarist, founded Spiritbox together in Victoria in 2017. I believe that their bassist and drummer are American. I love Courtney's pure clean vocal timber, and she sings in quite a poppy style.
Tatiana is Jinjer's vocalist. She, like the rest of Jinjer, is from Ukraine - in fact, they are from the region in Eastern Ukraine that has been involved in fighting off the Russians since 2014, and even more intensely since 2022. Tatiana's vocal timbre is more velvety than Courtney's, which I *love,* and she is a vocal chameleon, having mastered a very large range of vocal styles, including a large range of false vocal fold screams, metal / hard rock belting with grit, poppy cleans, jazzy & reggae-esque, etc. I didn't like harsh vocals *at all* until I discovered Jinjer through their very famous Pisces Live Session video some time in 2019, but Tati completely won me over.
I gravitate much more to Jinjer's typically heavier, edgier, nastier sound. However, their songs tend to be musically unconventional in structure and time signature and eclectic in style, and that makes some of their music less accessible to some listeners.
Since you didn't seem put off by the heavy parts of this fantastic collaboration, I'll assume that you don't need to be eased into metal. I would therefore recommend the video Audiotree | From Nothing. It's a brief, interesting and entertaining crash-course on Jinjer through the band's own words and live studio performances of 3 great tracks from their 2021 Wallflowers album ("Vortex", "Wallflower" and "Dead Hands Feel No Pain"). The live performances are *awesome,* and their discussions give you a good sense of their history, relationships with each other and their attitudes about their art. It's just under 24 minutes long, but well worth a reaction.
Thanks for taking the time to write your insightful comment! ^_^
JINJER - Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev)
the best Jinjer performance
YES!!! And also On the Top from the same concert
Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
Nothing better than Tatiana and Jinjer. You now must check out their others and prepare to be further amazed! As others have already said, Tatiana is the G.O.A.T. of scream/growls. All members of the band are super talented. The band can't easily be set into a specific genre because they switch things up pretty much with every song. Here's a list of videos to check out to get a good Jinjer experience and a taste if their wide range and skill-set: Vortex (Official video), Scissors, Sit Stay Roll-over, Wallflower, Retrospection, On The Top, Disclosure!, Call Me A Symbol, Teacher Teacher, Home Back, Someone's Daughter, Who is Gonna Be the One (Live at Kiev), and my favorite Pit of Conscienceness (Live at Kiev). And Jinjer just released a new badass song called, Green Serpent.---- Enjoy!
Plan is Pisces followed by green serpent
@@Abigirl_Reacts the usual reactor's first choice, followed up by their latest. \m/
@Abigirl_Reacts both great songs but you are going to want a live after those for sure tati rules the stage
This song legit made me tear up when Courtney and Tati started singing together. I've been a massive Spiritbox fan since 2017, and Jinjer since 2019, and had always dreamed of them doing a collab.
This was a great collab!
This was in my hometown! Your reaction was priceless 😂, you’re my favorite reaction channel rn!
I appreciate that, that means so much. Thank you!
Reactor's usually start with 'Pisces' from Jinjer which has shock value but now that you know Tati's vocals you can experiment with newer songs. Their OMV's are very good and some Live are recorded very well also. You may find their latest song 'Green Serpent' interesting.
Added, thanks a bunch! ^_^
@@Abigirl_Reacts please, do us a favor and do NOT start with pisces, listen that on your own time. I mean it is ridiculously good, but done more times than original has views in yt. I humbly suggest to dig in Jinjer though, they are on top of metal now for a reason.
So glad you made it here. I'm a fan of both bands but prefer the extra complexity in Jinjers music. Some personal favorites from Jinjer: Teacher Teacher, Vortex, Someones Daughter.
Added, thanks a bunch! ^_^
Love the poster!
Thanks David! ^_^
I LOVE Jinjer. When I saw them live I was right up front and was inches away from Tatiana, and both me and my wife swooned 😂. Tati has the voice of an angel, the scream of a banshee and the growls of a demon. If you delve deeper down the Jinjer Vortex (ifykyk 😉), everyone will recommend Pieces which is fantastic HOWEVER, I recommend I Speak Astronomy, Teacher Teacher and Judgement and Punishment (the one take version she did in her closet in particular.) She is absolutely incredible and I love her. I’m not super big into Spirtbox, but Courtney is a beast in her own right.
I'm so happy you got to see them live! ^_^
Jinjer - sit stay roll over
Jinjer- perenial live Wacken
Added, thanks a bunch! ^_^
Spiritbox is a Canadian band, though lead singer Courtney LaPlante is an American. Her and her hubby Mike Stringer (Spiritbox's guitarist) used to be in the band "Iwrestledabearonce" together. If you want more Spiritbox there's a few entirely clean songs such as Constance and Perfect Soul, there's balanced mixes like Circle With Me and Jaded and Blessed Be, and there's super-harsh stuff like Holy Roller, Angel Eyes, and Cellar Door. All are great!
And I always have to mention, being in a crowd as we all shout 'this could all be yours!' during Circle With Me remains one of my favorite concert memories.
I'm so happy you got to see them live! ^_^
Can't do better than the best comment on the original video "Who knew this would be so awesome? Everyone. Everyone knew it would be awesome."
^_^
Tatiana modeled her growl/scream after Randy Blythe of Lamb of God and her cleans after Gwen Stefani. What a combination!
So impressive! 🤘😊🤘
@@Abigirl_Reacts Jinjer and the Warning have been my two favorites over the last couple of years. Enjoy.
She was actually inspired by Otep.
@johnbriggs3916 Otep influenced her in terms of getting into harsh vocals but she modelled her sound after Randy.
you should definitely listen Jinjer "Pisces" :) She`s brilliant !.... And you too 😍
You're sweet, ty! Added
Spiritbox just dropped a new song called "No Loss, No Love" It's an absolute banger! It's mostly harsh vocals so be prepared. Reminds me of old Spiritbox songs like Belcarra, Bleach Bath and The Mara Effect trilogy.
I heard Jinjer for the first time 8 years ago and since then I have been in love with this band.
I have been a musician for decades, not in the metal area, but as I said when I heard Jinjer for the first time...........
Maybe you can do Jinjer's latest song: JINJER - Green Serpent (Official Video)
thanx for your reaction and lovely greetings from germany
Coming soon!
Lol Jinjer is ukrainian proggy djent groove metal with complex time-signature maze, polyrhythms and multi-genre blending. They are one of the most talented 4-pieces and Tati is one of the best overall metal vocalists and lyricists in the business.

Jinjer - Perennial (Live At Wacken 2019)
Jinjer - Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev)
Jinjer - On The Top (Live in Kiev)
Jinjer - Who Is Gonna Be The One (Official Live)

Jinjer - I Speak Astronomy (Official Video)
Jinjer - Vortex (Official Video)

Welcome to the Jinjer rabbit hole, so much musicianship, so many feels moments from both the music and the vocals and the lyrics, truly top of the mountain metal core gold from Jinjer ... Pit of Consciousness LIVE is my personal fav, Tati will melt your mind and Jinjer will change your life lol
More Jinjer incoming soon!
Spiritbox released 3 pro shot live vids within a few weeks and all show off different Courtney screams especially Angel Eyes where you see all of them in one song.
Awesome!
You might have heard this on a youtube short or tik tok, short clips of that part were making the rounds back in the day. Very catchy and memorable.
Very possible
Circle With Me is Spiritbox's most popular song... by a lot. Though, Holy Roller is up there. And Jaded is eventually going to get close. As for them being an American band... sort of? Courtney was born in the USA (in the North East), moved to Alabama, and then moved to Canada where she eventually met Mike. So, technically speaking, they're a North American band that originated in Canada.
Tatiana is Ukrainian, as is Jinjer.
Thanks so much for answering my questions ^_^
Another vote for Holy Roller from me, that's a great song, I really like the official music video version.
This duo performance is like reading book 7 first before the other 6 in the series. 😂
I believe you haha
Thank you ABI Ur smile always makes me smile it's a pleasure watching Ur reaction I appreciate all Ur uploads thank U abi
Thanks for watching ^_^
I've never felt more at home or alive when I go to a festival.
I'm jealous!
Great reaction! You really need to fall down the Jinjer rabbit hole. Tatiana is the Queen when it comes to vocal screams, and she has an amazing singing voice. The band is also incredible and they do not have a bad song. Thank you!
Thanks so much for the info!
I'd like to give an honorable mention to bassist Josh Gilbert who actually did some of the harmonies. You can see him sing if you pay close attention to him during some of the harmonies.
I heard him for sure!
And Josh also mixed/mastered the sound for this video - so we can thank him for that too!
Tatiana and Courtney are some of the best front women in the business. I recommend reacting to their live performances. "Perennial" live at Wacken 2019 would be a good follow up reaction to Jinjer and Tatiana. Great reaction, subbed.
Thanks so much for subbing and welcome! ^_^
I was at this festival, listened to it live and love the collab
I'm so happy you got to see them live! ^_^
Jinjer can be difficult to get into because their music is very complex. They love playing with odd time changes and genre bending. They'll do things like blend bossa nova with death metal, and jazz infusion with pop. Their bassist is a finger tapper and their drummer is a classically trained pianist. And then their vocalist, good lord; well, you heard her.
Spiritbox is more straightforward and radio friendly. Courtney used to sing for a band called I Wrestled A Bear Once before she and her husband formed Spiritbox.
I look forward to the genre bending jinjer has to offer!
If you want to see Courtney really shine, check out Spiritbox - Angel Eyes, the live version they have in black and white. It's chefs kiss.
Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
My son and I can be seen headbanging in that video, was awesome show!
You need to check out Jinjer - "Pit of Consciousness" Live in Kiev
Hmmm Pisces coming soon i think
This was my first festival experience and this set was the highlight for me🤘🏼🤘🏼
I'm so happy you got to see them live! ^_^
I’m a simple man… I see Jinjer or Spiritbox, the video gets a like!
Thank you for the like!
seeing both of them live at a festival in june. looking forward to it :) sadly different days so unlikely theyll invite each other on for a duet.
Have fun!
@@Abigirl_Reacts guaranteed to have it haha, you should make your way to a festival sometime if you can :)
When they were screaming this is the lyrics. "I held the power of a dying sun
I climb the altar and I claim my place as God!"
That's.... interesting lol
Not the ideal way to hear Tati but I'll take it how ever I can. Love Jinjer. MORE Jinjer.
Haha OK more coming
We need more spiritbox reaction's please.
Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
I was at this show! It was a complete surprise when Tatiana came out and the crowd lost their minds when they realized lol. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with the audio live and Tatiana's vocals were very quiet for the crowd; the remnants of hurricane Helene had hit the festival a day or 2 earlier so I assumed at the time that the wind and rain had damaged the speakers or other equipment, but I don't know for sure. I was really excited when they released this video so I could hear her better. Spiritbox also had Poppy as a guest on one song and Sam Carter from Architects on for another, both of which were great.
I'm so happy you got to see them live! ^_^
"I haven't got chills yet." me: You will 😂😂
Haha YUP!
There are a couple of metal acts where the vocalists switch from clean to harsh to clean. Jinjer, Spiritbox, Vexed, Infected Rain, Novelists, Vintersea, Entheos ( female), Opeth, Allt (male), and hundreds more
Awesome talent!
Both bands are quite good and worth the time. I got to see Spiritbox when they opened for Korn and Gojira. the set was short but the highlight of the show for me. Courtney is amazing, she can go lower than she shows in this video. Tatiana from Jinjer is also just amazing.
More Jinjer coming soon!
Two of the baddest women in metal on stage at the same time. Both bands are awesome and Courtney and Tati are legends.
Jinjer coming soon
My favorite part from the video of their performance starts at 0:00 and ends at 4:13
It was good!
Tatiana from Jinjer she's a goddess, she's amazing......Jinjer released a song 3 weeks ago "Green Serpent", but I advise you to start with "Pisces live session", or "pit of consciousness live in Kiev".....welcome to the world Jinjer
That's exactly the plan! Pisces followed by green serpent
How in the sweet lord did i miss this!? 😂😂
Hope you liked it!
In the one take vocal version, Courtney does a deeper gutural for the phrase that Tatiana did, but mostly centered on the word God. Tatiana used her style to accent the whole phrase in a deeper gutural.
So impressive! 🤘😊🤘
Thanks, good, subscribed 👍🏻
Waiting for your reaction on Jinjer's Pisces, Perennial live or any other song of your choice 😉

And so the Jinjer arc begins. Enjoy the ride!
More Jinjer to come!
A great followup for Jinjer is Perennial live at Wacken.
Pisces is the usual start for Jinjer, but you know the twist haha. It isn't a mistake to react to it but you're missing the vocal ambush that makes the song (in)famous. You may be able to focus more on the musicianship of the guys since you've seen what Tatiana can do though. Or maybe not - Tati's quite mesmerizing.
Lots of other Jinjer songs and usually the live performances overshadow the OMVs. They never skimp on their OMVs though so those aren't a mistake but folks will requst the live versions to follow up. There are a few omvs like Teacher Teacher and I Speak Astronomy, and Sit Stay Roll Over that have been able to avoid being overshadowed.
I'll most likely do both the omv and live performances
@Abigirl_Reacts Jinjer fans will like you :)
This was awesome, as was soft spine with Poppy...
Oh is that a song?
@Abigirl_Reacts it was another guest spot. Poppy is an ex TH-cam influencer who became a singer doing experimental and arty music. She has gradually come over to the heavier side and has discovered harsh vocals. She did a song with V.A.N. earlier in the year and her latest song "They're all around us" is mostly harsh vocals with a pop type chorus . Poppy appeared with Spiritbox at the same show as Tatiana in the video you just watched.
React to Pisces live session by Jinjer 👌
Coming soon!
best reaction :D clean mind
Glad you enjoyed it!
Courtney from Spiritbox is an ex singer of IWABO(iwrestledabearonce). If you want to hear madness, listen to IWABO😁. There was a female singer before Courtney that was a straight demon, but any song from them is killer.
Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
There are harmonies all throughout that actually through the first place where Tati and Courtney been together
Awesome
Strictly speaking, I believe that a harmony must include at least 2 different pitches. I believe that every time Tati & Courtney sang together, they sang the same pitch, which is called "unison" rather than "harmony". The bassist sang a different pitch, and thus created a harmony.
So coooooooool🖤I wish they can invite Alex Terrible for that. That'll be awesome trio
It would!
You GOTTA do Jinjer. Incredible. Tati is the Queen
Coming soon!
Nice reaction. Jinjer Army 🤘

Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
😊great review 👏👏 good band 🇺🇦 - the girls are awesome 😊
Yes they are!
Everyone’s first introduction to Jinjer should be Pisces the live session. After that to hear the diversity and beauty and Tatiana
’s voice, you should listen to her newest song “the green serpent”. You will be blown away by these two songs and no one comes close to Tatiana. Also, Jinjer is very unique with very odd time signatures and compositions, which is their niche. No one does it like them.
There's no one way to enjoy anything so I'm sure when I watch those, I'll still be blown away!
I have been to a festival like this - Wacken Open Air 2000 and 2001. it was an absolutely horrible experience and also some of the best days of my life.
What was horrible about it?
@@Abigirl_Reacts For the rest of the year, when it's not being invaded by metalheads, Wacken is a tiny rural community, and the festival grounds are a wheat field. This means that after rain it turns into a most exciting mixture of mud and hard pointy dried remains of wheat stalks. And when the harsh August sun burns down, the stalks just got even harder - best not to try to sit down on the ground. There are (or were - it has been over 20 years since and perhaps things have changed) only two ways to get a shower: there are paid (pricey) shower stalls with lengthy queues, or a... well it looked kind of like a long tent's offspring with a bouncy castle, which was like a car wash for people... and had transparent windows so it was really more of a dare or a chance to show off. Being in the north of Germany, some of the visitors were really big fans of what happened in the country sixty years prior. On the first day of the festival some guy was apparently not too happy with how crowded the checkpoint between the camping area and the stages was - so he lifted his kilt, turned around and around like spinning top while urinating with gusto. He did get a lot of personal space in a very short amount of time though, so guess it worked. Sleeping in the camping area was only possible because you would be completely tuckered out from having to trek to the stages and back multiple times a day, because it never got actually dark and/or quiet the whole time. The toilets were those portable ones you can see on construction sites, and by the second day they were overflowing. But... it was also absolutely an amazing experience that I miss dearly. Not only for the music - and some of those bands were absolutely worth the 11 hour road trip on their own - but for the people and the fun and the atmosphere. Some guys made an unofficial taxi service, driving their beat up old VW Golf through the rows of tents to the front of the camping area and back, and whoever wanted a ride could just jump on the hood, or the roof, of the trunk - at one point there were like 20 people being chauffeured this way. There was a tent with a huge homemade banner proclaiming "drinking against the political right" where anyone who would loudly shouting proclaim their disdain for the aforementioned "history lovers" could get a free plastic cup of beer. The Australian guys who flew to Germany specifically for this festival and had brought homebrewed honey mead in plastic bottles and shared it with us after we had talked to them for a while (it was delicious, I say as a mead lover). The group of Americans who rizzed up a girl in our party - I was sent to fetch her from their camp late one night because we wanted to do something as a group, but I didn't want to interrupt the conversation so I lingered off to the side of her and the guy whose lap she sat on and who was the one speaking, until he suddenly snapped his head around to me mid-sentence and yelled "hey! you're not Steve! ... ... want a Jägermeister?" To this day I have no idea why not being Steve was worthy of a free libation but I don't usually look a gift horse in the mouth. Another couple of guys had brought a gas powered generator and some wooden pallets and had set up a stage with instruments ready to go right in the middle of the camping area and anyone who felt sufficiently confident could take a turn playing for the crowd. And so much more. Ah. What a time we had.
Spiritbox has a wide range of all clean songs to all scream songs and everything in between. Jinjer is a blend of both most of the time. But they are both great bands
Jinjer coming soon!
YOU GOTTA DO JINGER! studio live "Pisces"
Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
Oh yeah, this is an awesome one. I can also recommend Jinjer - "I Speak Astronomy" (the music video), that's another favorite of mine.
It's time to go down the Jinjer rabbithole. I recommend "Who is going to be the one" live. Since you already popped the initial shock you can save Pices for later. "Perennial live" at Wacken is also a must watch
Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
Courtney's Live One Take of this song is to me a million times better. It's just her in the studio with the music playing in the background and her singing/screaming her head off!
Sounds epic
@@Abigirl_Reacts The one-take live studio performances of "Circle with me", "Rule of Nines" and "Holy Roller" (but watch the music video for "Holy Roller" first before doing the one-take performance) are awesome, I can highly recommend them.
Spiritbox is Canadian , the singer is Courney LaPlante. a popular react might be the one-take studio performances of either _this_ song or _Rule of Nines_ . (i'm not super familiar with them, so i'll leave it to others to guide you there)
and since now the cat is out of the bag about Jinjer, you might as well start with one of the newest songs -- i'd suggest either _Someone's Daughter_ or _Green Serpent_ .
(the normal start point is _Pisces_ , but that's mostly for the shock factor ; though feel free to get to that one as you see fit).
they've really evolved a lot as a band, so just seeing how their style/sound has changed over the years is really interesting (once you get a couple of songs in, we'll steer you from there)
Just to note. The band is from Canada but Courtney was born in Bangor Maine and grew up in Alabama. She then moved to Canada and that's where she became a musician and met Michael her hubby guitar player.
Thanks for the suggestion! ^_^
What's crazy about this performance is Tatiana went into this song blind with no rehearsal for this.
So impressive! 🤘😊🤘
Spiritbox is from Canada Jinjer is from Ukraine, Both amazing in their own rights. Dive down the rabbit hole.
