The R.C.R. Corral is the heart of the ranch. This approximately 20,000± square foot covered pavilion has authentic western decor and seats from 100 to 2,000 guests with room to dance in front of a Texas-size stage. Using the grounds around the Corral, the facility can easily accommodate up to 5,000 people! Numerous food service and bar areas can be set up inside and out to handle any size crowd. The surrounding grounds have huge Pecan trees for shade during the day and come alive with lights for evening parties on the lawn. Two huge fire pits provide warmth during cool evenings. Clear plastic drops can be lowered around the pavilion in the event of inclement weather. This facility is a “Texas Best” must see and features a commercial kitchen with all modern fixtures and appliances.
The Lazy Lily River House is separated from the R.C.R. Corral by a large picnic area with numerous large pecan trees. Inside, seating is available for up to 150 people. Outside, an approximately 2,000± square foot deck is shaded by a 500-year-old pecan tree and provides space for an additional 50 people. The Lily River House sits on the banks of the Cibolo, overlooking the lighted river, waterfalls and landing dock, complete with a party barge that will hold up to 20 people, and is ideal for offering nature cruises and river rides. The Lily River House is an all-weather, air conditioned and heated facility and is one of the best party places in San Antonio.
Zuehl’s Hall is a Texas dance hall and saloon with approximately 4,500± square feet. The building is reminiscent of an authentic German dance hall and accommodates groups of up to 200 guests in air conditioned and heated comfort. The facility boasts a large dance floor and stage surrounded by open fixed glass, a dry stack rock fireplace, a large bar and large shade pecan trees.
The Ranch Guest Cottage is located adjacent to Zuehl’s Hall and is a quaint and newly remodeled German cottage with a kitchen, sitting room and spacious bedroom.
The property also features a full blown functional lighted rodeo arena with seating for approximately 700 that has hosted bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing, bareback bronco riding, and team roping events.
The Ranch’s century old pecan orchard has six different species of Texas pecans. The Ranch is currently an active member of the Texas Pecan Growers Association.
The Lily Garden, adjacent to the River House, is connected by a natural stone walkway and footbridge leading to an arbor and platform, which can be used for weddings or a stage for various activities. This one-acre herb and flower garden features many native Texas plants, a butterfly garden, a gazebo, wishing well and fire pit. The Lily Gardens’ seating capacity is 350.
Cibolo Creek in all of its majestic beauty meanders through the ranch, forming the boundaries of Guadalupe and Bexar Counties. The creek is part of the San Antonio River system. The creek’s waterfalls crash down next to the creek-side pier, where you can catch and feed fish. The stretch of Cibola Creek features two dams with waterfalls, deep holes and easy access throughout!
Another garden area known as Creekside Gardens is a rose and lavender garden with gazebo, swing, and Creekside nature trail. It’s also a quaint and romantic spot for a wedding ceremony or the perfect cocktail hour site.
Cibolo Orchard boasts an edible landscape of tomatoes, peppers, herbs, peach trees and pear trees. A gazebo covered with edible vines overlooks the Creek.
Across the open field and down from the Cibolo Gardens ceremony site is one of two unique and original Creekside ceremony sites. A Bride and Groom are literally surrounded by the bend in the Cibolo creek with a cascading river bank as the backdrop.
