FUN FACT: Acording to the developers, When you "spare" ASGORE in a genocide route it will *NOT* Put you back to neutral... you will continue *a* *completly* *diffrent* *route* *called* *abonded* *genocide* / *evacuation* *neutral*
I noticed that because of Chara’s face after hugging Asgore
@@Jessica_Schweser The reason you are put on a diffrent route is, You changed your mind about doing genocide but ASGORE still warned everyone outside. Also yeah, You can still see the genocide shadow but you can also see the eyes.
Undertale has 4. Pacifist, Neutral, Genocide and Souless Pacifist(Pacifist end after Genocide End; Souless Pacifist is Pacifist but possessed by Chara cuz u gave them ur soul în geno and every body dies)

Since TS!Underswap swaps their positions and not their personality, I believe both Flowey and Temmie are on your side. Flowey probably retained his resetting abilities but isn’t as evil as original Flowey, which is why he’s helping you out. Temmie is the antagonist that torments you, but she’s not as smart as Flowey

In-game ASRIEL Was Calling "Chara! Are you there?", and "Its me your best friend..'' *ASRIEL DREMURR INTRO* He was calling chara and at first he was a flower.
So TS Might be a little backstory to Chara.
And thats why Flowey was good to chara. Also in journal said "Status:New Pal?" And the frisk one (original game) Flowey Looks At Chara Killing everyone and gets power, Flowey Thought he could do that too and then chara left. Frisk got in underground.. Flowey try to test if he will get power "Reset"
Nice theory but Flowey is actually Monster Kid. You will meet Asriel further into the game.

So excited for this! I remember looking up the Genocide option when you first played this fangame, and I was floored at how different it is, how much detail is included. What a great fangame, can't wait for them to expand on it more.

Asgore as the Ruins caretaker for me is far more heartwrenching than Toriel was, so it's especially hard to do a Genocide in this game.

It just occurred to me, Frisk is dead quiet even though they're supposed to be the narrator this time around, you can tell it's chara because of the use of the consistent use of first person wording like, I and Me, not you...
That's a good point.

That's fitting, judging from what little personality we see of the kids in UT, Frisk seems to do more physical interaction with monsters isntead of talking, and(since TS follows the Narrator Chara theory) Chara is very talkative.

Oh now that I can actually watch this in full- Nice playthrough! I'm thankful you fit it all in one video. The Geno route in this game is already so unique, even with just a demo! Playing through it myself was terrifying, and that final battle-! I can't wait to see what else Team Switched has in store.

I had crafted a comment for this video, it was pretty good, but it got lost to a youtube ad resetting the page or something before I could send it. I'll just say this. Amazing game from the folks on Team Switched, and amazing content as always from our favorite cherry :)
Now I feel like there's so much hype for the rest of the game! This version of sans isn't as naive as blue, and from what we saw he's definitely planning to put Chara in their place as well. Finally, another Undertale video, not like I'm complaining-
The final attack on Asgores Genocide fight destroyed me.
This is what Genocide Routes in AUs should really be about.
Everyone keeps focusing on the “Genocide specific fights and themes that are cool” and “this is how the story changes.” And a lot of people focus WAY too much on the “edgy and dark” part of it.
This feels like it actually makes you feel bad. It’s not just the story changing and the new dialogue, but it actually shows you why you should stop, it’s not just because of harder fights, it’s because you’re ruining lives and taking lives left and right.
This feels less like an Undertale Fangame Genocide Route, and more like a really well made creepypasta. Not like the “edgy lol kill everyone is dead killing is fun. :) blame it on Chara.” Sort of way, but more like an NES Godzilla sort of way “This is extremely disturbing and kinda sad, why am I playing this? Why should I do this?” From the music slowing down as you kill the Ruined Knights, to everyone hiding inside in the city, to Mettacrits more worried talk sprites, all there to make you feel guilty, not cool, but guilty.
It doesn’t reward you with what you want, which is just more fights, it punishes you by showing you why you should stop, especially since not EVERYONE will fight you anyway, because they’re sacred, they’re smart. They don’t just fight to stop you like in a lot of fan games and AUs, they run for their lives.
That’s the genius of Undertales game design and this game reflects it perfectly, in some ways, it actually does this better than the original Undertale, and that’s what the best AUs do in my opinion.
I’m just venting and spitting this out there, I don’t think anybody out there is gonna care, but it was worth a shot I guess.
This is the most genocide cherry I have ever seen like:"Can I have a temmy weapon?" "I'm comming for you" etc.
I enjoyed watching the first playthrough of this and I’m excited for this one. :)

I just noticed that the Ruined Knights' colors might represent a different emotion, like in Omori. Scutler (the one in the middle) is angry, Balard (the one on the right) is sad, and Karapaes (the one on the left) is happy.
I love that, if you do your best attack on the froggit asgore blocks it, because you spent time to get your most powerful attack ready, but if you attack immediately it doesn’t do as much damage but you hit the froggit cause you attack faster. It’s small details like this that I really enjoy about this fangame. (Also the mini bosses don’t die in one hit and even attack harder, that’s something I wished about undertale. Genocide versions of the bosses/mini bosses that have new attacks and don’t die in one hit)

I learned recently that you can kill the first froggit in the ruins that toriel normally interrupts if you are fast enough
I love how I’m the background, you can ever so often hear the sound effect for when you kill a monster echo around you, very nice touch
U can grind at the start ,Chara should have their eyes covered by shadow and all save points will only say determination if u have done it correctly and u cannot call ascore once chara's eyes are covered by shadow. You can also reach the "shadow face" (as I call it) before u reach the ruined Knight's, the ruined town is VERY different in the genocide route. =)
Chara's eyes actually re-appear, with the shadow if you spare asgore.

Someone needs to make a mod (if possible) for undertale where your environment effects your ability to dodge.
For example:
Hot lands: sometimes fireballs come from below when close to lava
Snowden: your soul slides if fighting on or near ice
Junk yard: small objects in your movement box that you can push out of the way but it slows you down
