      SAS is scared as hell too. He's just doing the old okeydoke by making it racial and pulling emotional strings, diverting from focusing on the subject of Bronny's legitimacy. He doesn't want to go in on Bronny, LeBron and the Lakers Because he doesn't want to be unfollowed like Rachel Nichols. His who racial point is mute because everyone is giving JJ Reddick hell for being unqualified as a coach. If JJ Reddick pulled the same stunt getting his son drafted after avg 4 pts a game, there would be hell to pay, if not moreso from the media and SAS would be leading the charge.

    What most people are missing is that long time Lakers fans (like myself) are not happy with the direction that the team is heading and the level of power and influence LBJ has over the team.
    I’m a Kobe guy and I know that if he had a son who was draft eligible but was no where close to ready for the NBA he would not allow him to get drafted to any NBA team let alone the Lakers. He’d say get your butt in the gym and develop your skills.
    The Lakers really need to be careful about isolating their fan base because you saw what happened when the Dodgers did that when Frank McCourt was the owner. Lakers fans will loudly turn on the team if they continue down this path.

    • @prezzlola
      @prezzlola หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Add to that the dynamics of the team. How is Bronny being a Laker going to affect the team? They have to be extra careful, any little thing can look like favoritism. It can create animosity amongst the players. Things can get awkward really quickly.

      why would anyone speak against it though? NBA is a business and Bronny will benefit that business greatly and the 55th pick is always a "maybe something will come of it" and it rarely does. It's funny because Kwame you criticizes for being in your words an "unworthy" #1 pick. Kwame was just a kid too actually younger at 18, but you had no problem throwing that kid under the bus, and talking mad trash about him at the time when he was drafted because you felt he did not deserve to be drafted where he was. Now all of a sudden someone else who clearly doesn't deserve to be drafted AT ALL, now all of a sudden oh it's ok, he can develop, don't talk bad about this kid and clearly its all because of who his daddy is. Pretty sad honestly. You didn't care how deep your words cut to an 18 year old Kwame who had no control over someone drafting him so high, but since bronny is Lebron son there is no talk about how he was not deserving of being drafted. Again, pretty sad man.
