marcswadel Hi, it’s called Leifheit Airactive Ironing Board from John Lewis, it’s was £250. They don’t have my model anymore, it’s looks like an improved version now.
what about maintenance does it have some kind of filter or other stuff to buy ? cause i had philips steam iron, and it had filters after 2 years they dont produce it anymore...
Hi do you have to keep a button pressed for continuous steam and can you hear the t.v. when using this iron? I am slightly deaf and was wondering if I would have to put the volume up high if I but this. I'm torn between this and the Rowenta Silent Steam generator iron from Amazon. Last question what is the wattage and warranty? Thanks for reading.
Hi, Yes you need to keep your finger on the trigger to get continues steam. It is not very loud, especially if you keep the iron on the fabric. The pump makes a noise at first when its pumping new water but overall its quiet. I don't think you would have any issues with it and the TV sound. Wattage, is 2200 to 2600 WATT, not sure about warranty, I think I saw 2 years somewhere?
Hi! The only way to access the tank and add water is by unscrewing the large yellow screw on the side. It should just turn and you will then see the anticalc mesh
Hi, I just bought almost the same model (TDS8040) when I press the button to got the steam, it's very strong for 3-5 sec then it decrease slowly. I feel like the iron is running out... After pressing 30sec the steam is very low. Is it the normal working or mine has a factory default ? Thanks for your review and help !
Hi! I find that the steam is slightly more powerful then it reduces a little but not so much it impacts on the ironing. I wouldn't say it should reduce too much? Mine seems to keep a constant steam. Double check what setting you have the iron on... I know ECO will reduce the steam power and also iTemp isn't the highest power, JEANS is the most powerful setting so try it on that setting and see if it reduces. If it does then perhaps you have a faulty unit?
Hello, the iron model is TDS8030GB and the ironing board is from a company called Leifheit (I purchased it from John Lewis but I do not think they sell it anymore)

I cleaned my iron and now all it does is make a noise
Is it ok now? Normally it makes a noise while the internal boiler is filling up?
