Sound is NOT very bad, & I much appreciate the titles for the rose names---it is often a bit difficult for me to catch those when it's maybe a rose we don't have here in the states & there's an unfamiliar accent. (I'm SURE it's not that I'm getting a bit old!) It was lovely to see all those climbers in their glory. I do hope I'll be around in 10 years to see some of mine get that old & glorious! I'll take a look at his channel b/c what I really want to see is how he prunes those masses! Thnaks to both of you gentlemen for the tour!
Hi vintage. Yes when editing I realised how rushed this video was. Like I said I was up against a tight window time wise. Long story short I had to catch a tide because my brother was sailing. And it just happened every neighbour decided to cut grass when I was there! Peters pruning and training is second to none. That I’ve seen anyway. Hopefully he will show you more info on his channel without the noise or rush! :)
Hi guys, Nasturtiums are also edible. They have a peppery, spicy flavor. I grow them year to year after harvesting their seeds. Roses love them because they can also serve as aphid magnets. Aphids go to the Nasturtium and not the roses. Just a fun fact 🥰 Really pretty garden. Thanks for bringing me along
Wow...what an amazing garden...must have the balance of the feeding and nurturing requirements of those colossal beauties off to an absolute fine art! Amazing, Peter, superb. Thank you for allowing us in......and thank you.... Wonderful Grower, for sharing ♥️♥️🌹🌹♥️♥️
Hi Peter, yes I’m sure he has. I will let Peter divulge his trade secrets to you. But I think he goes for strong repeating roses and this always helps. But the expert manner in which he trains and supports his roses he really does drag every inch of life out of them.
Hi Jay, I watch this 3 times in my tv to enjoy the magnificent growth of Peters’ roses. Incredible, is he pruning them ( climbers) especially the Rural England? He’s got 'For your eyes’ and the ‘Pilgrim rose is fantastic. I’ll take a look at his channel. Thanks for sharing this paradise to us!😍🌹🌹🌹
@@Jay_Jay Hi Jay, I am doing well. How are you, I thought about you couple of weeks ago while I was at London airport! I visited my homeland Istanbul Turkey to see my siblings, I had lay over almost 7 hours at London, it was very long! But I used to like flying with British Airways I don't know if I do it again, waiting is too long!! Take care my friend 🌹
@@seniyeshepherd3050 funny I thought about you a while ago also, isn’t that strange. I’m glad your well and hoped you enjoyed your visit to Turkey seeing family.
@@Jay_Jay Im doing well thanks...so much to do and prepare now that we're in Winter here is Sydney Australia. My garden Reno still hasn't been completed... but still working on it. Hope all is well with you and the family! Take care.
Thank you, Jay Jay. That was one stunning garden and those roses ❤. I planted The Pilgrim Last Autumn, and it is all budded up, so I'm quite excited about that. Exquisite, many thanks again.
LOVED his creative supports, for his Climbers! The drift wood tree support, the bent metal bars, the eye bolts & metal rods. WOW, Gorgeous garden and gorgeous roses!! Thank you!! ~ from Washington state, USA
Hi Marilyn. Yes I forgot to shout out to Peter beales. I actually forgot it was them who bred it. This rose variety twice now it’s been a show stopper. The two occasions I’ve seen this rose as mature examples both times fantastic. A lovely fragrance and packed full of buds.
I have Madame Alfred Carriere , she was bareroot of EBay last year , only had one or 2 years so far . Beautiful garden must subscribe to Peter thanks ☺️
Fabulous, thank you for the video Jay Jay what a treat to visit with Peter in his garden it's one of my favourite gardens. I have Rural England and Blush Noisette they are both 2nd year for me here so it's wonderful to see what they could become. Gorgeous garden and as Peter always says 'colour' haha Yes a garden crammed full of magnificent colour ! Wonderful.
Yes I see the connection with both of your gardens. I’ve thought that for a while. Two fantastic roses you have there, you see the potential of both those rose varieties. Truth be told I’d much rather have had rural England growing instead of my maid of Kent. Peter has got every inch of life out of them and that is the sign of someone who knows what they are doing :)
Jay Jay, just the person and I was only thinking of you today. I need your expert rose advice 😁 I got timeless purple and Bliss parfuma after watching one of your videos and oh my, they are absolutely beautiful. I have a gap at the front of my border and I was wondering if you could recommend another of the parfuma or timeless roses please 🙏 😊 Another great video 😊
Two great roses you have there I think. Glorious Parfuma aka Madame annisette I think is going to be a great rose. Mine is very young but the scent is gorgeous. Take a look and see if you think it will go in that space. Then ring Peter at eastcroft and speak to him nicely see what he can do;) royal Parfuma or jubilee papa Meilland for a deep red ?
hi jay, what did he say to you about feeding them? does he care to much about dead heading? I love the look of the relaxed feel of his roses, maybe we all fuss to much?
He does feed them I will let him update you on that. Regarding dead heading, when you have roses with this many flowers it’s very challenging to actually dead head. Some of them stems had 20 30,40,50 buds on. The one or two roses I have like this I just cut back once they’ve all gone over.x
No thank you. Lovely to see your garden in full flower. I knew that rural England would look special when I saw it in bud. It didn’t disappoint neither did blush noisette. :) great roses
@@Jay_Jay It was lovely to share with someone who loves roses. Thank you for doing such a good job on the video. Lets hope we have a good 'Year of the Rose' in your garden and everyone elses. P.
Hi there. Yes I’m keeping an eye on mine for next few years and see how she does. These roses do take a bit of planning and work I think. But rewarding when you see what I saw the previous week. Best of luck with yours.
I’m hoping he will chip in with this. He’s told me and I’m sure he will be happy to tell everyone. But I think mainly he goes for the roses that flower and repeat well. I’ll nudge him to respond to you. Thanks
Absolutely beautiful!
Indeed and all credit to Peter. ;) thanks
Wow such a beautiful it’s very pretty natural I just love watching this video ❤❤❤❤the rose 🌹 ❤

Stunning. The Pilgrim against the dark background. Fantastic, wow
Isn’t it just :) that’s no coincidence that’s a magician at work :)

Bred by Peter Beale Rural England. Another great rose breeder. All the rain and then sun has been fabulous for the roses.
