I bought two 4 inch chrome springs from LowBrowCustoms quite awhile back. I weigh 180 lbs and they made my solo seat quite comfortable while out riding. I've been in Canton, Ohio since 1971. I did grow up in Brookpark from 1959 to 1965. When my parents moved to the west side of Cleveland in 1965, I didn't take to the transplant, and got in a lot of trouble. My parents moved to Canton, Ohio in 1971 and my life got better. I still have family and friends in Brookpark and do occasionally ride my motorcycle up there a few times during the summer.
My question is how do these seats affect seat height in comparison to the stock seat? Generally, if one of these solo saddles were mounted rigidly, I imagine they might bring seat height down from the factory seat. What happens if you add 2 inch beehive springs? Are you still below factory seat height? How about the 3 inchers and 4 inchers? If you need a specific bike as an example, let's assume a Sportster Iron 883, or maybe a Sportster 48. Seat height is important to me with an inseam less than 30 inches.
You describe the black springs finish as "electroplate." Electroplating is a process and not a material. What is the material used to plate those springs?
you would be fine with all 3 of these springs, for you it would just effect height, some larger weighted person might not want to go with a 3 or 4" spring cause they would be bouncing a ton, 2" spring is really sturdy and low
thanks for nice and durability
information....👍❤️
How much do these compress under an average Americans weight?

For a 200lb rider that wants as comfortable ride as I can get with a hardtail, what size spring should I get?
If I’m 150 lbs what size should I get. Does the size affect the weight compression or just height?

But how are they comfort wise,, a good set of springs that is??
I need one for a 99 Suzuki intruder 1400
Can a spring seat setup be made for a vulcan 650 s?
