I love the engine sounds in this game. Especially this car, the Nissan R390's, the C-West, the 787B, the Subaru Imprezas, The Honda NSX, the Mazda RX-7, Zonda C12, and the RUF RGT.
David Forza Motorsport games on Xbox one have the closest to real sounding exhaust notes from what I’ve played. If you let an rx7 idle, you can even hear that rotary go “brap brap brap brap brap brap brap brap” and of course the subies have the rumble.

They don’t really sound realistic though. However I must admit they sound better than gran Turismo 4-6 somehow.

Only problem is it doesn't have the real sound of a Subaru WRX rally car in this game.
This was in 2001. Even today, most games still don't have the proper exhaust notes for the cars.
