Yes! The crazy part is that the songs they sang (or sing all the time anyway) are very popular songs. And imagine making a new song out of 2 or 3 existing song already, and those songs overlapping each other in that way. It's like singing an overlapping duet of My Heart Will Go On and I Have Nothing, while staying in your lane. Mind blowing!

They are part of the elder generation of 80s singers that young singers like KZ, Katrina, Morissete and BuDaKhel look up to, who started the trend of power vocals harmonizing in impromptu collaborations full of improvisations and ad libs due to the fact that they sang almost every week on noontime variety shows for decades now and had to experiment with different arrangements and styles to keep the audience interested, since they could not keep singing the same songs over and over again without boring the audience. That pretty much answers your question of how Filipino singers are not only able to sing well individually but also blend and harmonize with other singers so well. Because of artists like Gary and Regine who basically paved the way and set the standard of how it's supposed to be done.
