Looking very colour coordinated with your gear Dave! The Spine competitors are something else - a work colleague of mine Eoin Keith has won the men’s category of the winter Spine three times so I’m a frequent dot watcher, amazing athletes 🤩 Nice to see the snow dusting and I can imagine how cold that must have been packing up! Great you got out for a nights escape 😎🎉

Those days have been few and after between this winter an I love days like that, bit of sun and rock solid underfoot. It still looked cold mind and dancing my well have been a good way of keeping warm while setting up. You sure were prepared for anything the cold could throw at you and just like a cockroach you would survive anything with that set up. Those runners must be unbreakable mind and running 268 miles at this time of the year is almost unbelievable. Food looked spot on to me, given the conditions and what a view to watch the sun drop and those amazing night skies. It looked even colder in the morning and I am a sensible hiker, as well as camper....I think🤔, cheers Alan
Thanks Alan it certainly was a bone chilling camp this one 🥶 I was prepared or so I thought as I did still feel cold in the morning pack away. Still I’m sat in the comfort of home in front of my stove listening to that wild weather outside , not a night for camping lol tfw atb Dave
Three month! You're right Dave, been a manky old winter for camping, and the only times I've been out are when all the boggy ground has frozen solid too. I bet the morning felt colder than the evening despite being a few degrees warmer - freezing mist/fog is always a killer, gets into yer bones... Anyway, always good to see you out! Cheers. Rich 👍
The run up to the end of the year was poor weather wise , then any decent days I would be in work !! Yeah it felt much colder in the morning as that wind picked up too 🥶 Let’s hope we get a nice spring 😎tfw atb Dave ⛺️👍
Good to see you back out on another video. Those conditions looked absolutely beautiful. What a clear sky. And -7? Sounds enough to give you an edge and make you feel alive! Great little video, thanks for sharing, ATB, Graham 👍

Awesome cold night out Dave. I was at 500 meters the other night and almost lost my balls. Ha ha! The Tyvek is a bit loud it has to be said but does the job. The winter views tend to be without smog - that's a plus. Well, no solution yet for fingerless gloves - just gotta go with the numb ends. Good going. All the best. Mark
