    Everyday I listen dhamma talks from monks who have been students of Ajahn Chah. Thanks to internet or youtube today I can have a dhamma talk here in Norway... from someone talking in Thailand, or Singapore, or some other country.

      Helt enig. Er også munker i norge som er Ajahn chah studenter, de bor på skogsklosteret i skiptvet og man kan også besøke de.

    This is so true about having a Seasoned teacher.I got really stuck.Been meditating for years but something went wrong it was scary. I started right from scratch all over again with a good teacher, Ajahn Jayasaro and his guided meditation.I'm going to be OK now but I really needed a serious Monk to help me.There are many "teachers" out there. Finding a good one take time; you really need to be very careful. You just "know" when you get an honest and sincere one. You can finally relax! Ajahn Chah is so down to earth. Incredible Guide!

    • @y9w1
      @y9w1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes... And I hope you communicate with the teacher. You can write to the Ajahn if you're far away. Or to his monastery... It helps a lot to have discussion with a good teacher, with a monk like those disciples of Ajahn Chah 🙏☀️🌸🌼🙏

      Ajahn chah may tell you that everything has its purpose(s). Without pain who can see true peace. Without failure how can we achieve. Without patience and endurance how can we learn. Without practicing the long way how can we see the shorter way. That's our past karma. Ajahn chah said many times, do not worry about our troubles, it's the seeds we planted long ago. That we should just focus on presence moment. The seeds we plant today will determine our tomorrow. Do not fear, do not doubt, be at peace with every fibers in our being right now. Buddha Buddha my friend.

    One of the best teacher's teaching. To understand Dharma is not that simple or easy. Buddha taught and show the path. The person has to walk through that path to experience and understand with wisdom. That person will attain peace, compassion( loving kindness ) and become one with universe. Sadu,Sadu,Sadu. Good deed welldone. May All being can be peaceful, away from all sickness and dangers.

    Does conscientiousness survive after death? Ajahn Chah was very specific on that... is rebirth real? What exactly is rebirth? Craving, clinging... all are just misunderstanding of the truth nature. Some may call it ignorance. I prefer misunderstanding. Because of our continual misunderstanding, we keep on generating bad karma for years on end. I think that constitutes rebirth. Like a battery, one must energize it for it to provide electricity to others. For us, our misunderstanding energize us to perpetuate our rebirth. True conscientiousness is when we are capable of seeing the insanity of our efforts and transcending them into non Dukka generating efforts or good karma. Conscientiousness is very essential in either cases. Like our computer, when we turn it on, it remembers all our previous preferences until we deleted our browser history and preferences, or reset our computer. Buddha Buddha to you my friends

      Hieu Truong Your consciousness is the consciousness of the world. You are the world and the world is you. When you die, it is only the form that dies. Your consciousness lives on. And yes...... of course rebirth is real. You can experience rebirth now while you’re still alive. How you ask? Random thoughts that pop up all of a sudden and simply fade away is a form of rebirth and death. Emotions such as love is a form of rebirth ... as well as other feelings. I love you and desire you today. Tomorrow I may feel differently and stab you with a butcher knife. Anything that comes and go whether psychologically or physically is a form of rebirth and death. And yes, it is your karma (negative as well as positive) that gets reborn. And because of the many life times we’ve had, we have a shit load of karma. 🤔😉😀

    The reader after about a half hour began stumbling over words, indicating that his reading faculties had became fatigued. After several stumbles, he tried to compensate by increasing the speed of his speech, producing a forced reading, too hasty, almost frenetic, and continuing to stumble. He would have done better to pause and rest, being mindful.

      From what I learned from science DNA is the blue print of humanity. There are also DNA without genes The nature of it is to double itself, we see that selfish genes are prosper every where. DNA without genes are still floating after death, affected by attraction and repulsion, will combine again.
