Excellent Video. You really took the time to explain every detail and explaining the difference between the glide and T400 mods was enlightening for sure.
You can use a spare input/output in the Holley Dominator to either trigger the dump valve system via simple on/off activation, or pulse the dump valve system at 10hz if PWM control is desired. Each solenoid only draws approximately 2 amps, so a standard relay would be totally fine for power handling capabilities; no need for a solid state relay with this system.
@@HughesPerformance what's your thoughts on using a dump like this to run a single converter for both NA and Turbo class racing? I'm in the middle of a build that we plan to race both classes but I really don't want to have to pull the trans and swap converters between classes.
@@HughesPerformance, 650 ish NA and limit to 1200 with the bed mounted turbo. I've got a Chance bolt together converter so I can swap out stators to find the optimum setup.
@@harperjmichael I think we could definitely get you into a successful single converter & 2-stage dump valve system that would work well within those parameters.
We have those kits ready and are just waiting for the cartridge assemblies that go inside our valves to come off backorder so we can start filling orders.

Thank you!!
You’d have really brought out the “black magic “ in converter technologies.
Stg1 th400 system, is there a place on your system that I can run a pressure sensor on gov plate or solenoid to monitor converter pressure
Great info.
Do you have something for the c4 ford auto thanks
Pete, can you team up with a Holley tuner to show how these would be controlled with say, the Holley Dominator/HP system.

@@harperjmichael that's certainly a possibility. What are your projected power levels with the turbo installed and in N/A configuration?

Did the 2 stage TH400 kit come to market yet? Part number?
Can I use a dump valve system if I do not run a trans brake? And is there one for th350.
Hi can you do a dump kit for a c4 transmission
Anything for 4l80e?
Not at the moment. Sorry about that!!
I understand you don’t have any kits for the 4L80Es but is there any possibility in the future?
anything coming for ford c6
Not at the moment, although we could always take a look at making a custom kit if desired.
Aye where's the 2 stage for the th400?

Hughes Performance 👍🏻
Hmm looks familiar
