The overhead cam is really great guys. Really helps follow the report in a much more meaningful way. Great work pulling that off. Really happy to see the channel growing
Starting a Sons of Behemat army soon and got a friend hooked on AoS with Seraphon, so this battle rep was a blessing. Not 100% on all the rules, but this was easy to follow and very entertaining. Looking forward for more battle reps!
for what it's worth, the Krondspine dying during turn 2 for the sons would not have failed "do not waver" as it is not a unit. It didn't die anyway, but it wouldn't have mattered.
@@JebodiahJunfan "Thanks for telling us sons lost before I've watched it :)" No one said that, they were advising that the discussion around worrying that a Battle Tactic was going to be scored via a dead Krondspine wouldn't have resulted in points (but it didn't die anyway to give points so didn't affect the points / end of the game).
One thing that's nice about the new data cards/warscrolls is you can keep track of Health and damage that way instead of having random dice all over the board. Much cleaner for players!
you are correct and we definatly knew that. i thought the knondspine had already taken some damage. so when it was banished it would have been removed, but i could be remembering incorrectly
Quite sure that Mystical Unforging can't be stacked on the same unit. You can cast it multiple times, but it turns into a passive once applied and units can only be affected by 1 "of the same passives" at a time
I think that is a specific rule for all unlimited spells. They can be cast multiple times but cannot target the same unit more than once, no matter how often you cast it.
So dave and i read this in detail, and it comes down to the rule of 1. The question became is a spell a passive. Looking at 5.4 it says that abilities that have passive timings are called passives. Passive abilities are not declared. We ruled that since you have to declare the spell its not passive. there isnt really anything that states the spell becomes passive after casting. if there is you help us out and point us in the right direction.
@@BattleshockWargaming Dang, nevermind on my point. I usually play Soulblight, and both their unlimited spell and Nagash's warscroll "unlimited" spell both say in the wording that you cannot target the same unit more than once. Neither of the Seraphon unlimited spells have that restriction. I just assumed that's how all unlimited spells worked, but apparently not. That's good to know.
@@BattleshockWargaming it is 28.1 Persisting Effects in the core rules. It states that abilities that are not resolved immediately are treated the same way as passives (such as +1 to save for the rest of the turn, or in this case -1 from rend until the start of your next turn)
I think you could swap the skinks for either flavor of Huanchi. The teleport formation just kinda sucks bc the teleport is a core keyword, so if it fails, you can’t move your unit.
go for the hunters of huanchi instead of normal skinks they are cheaper and have good debuffs to support your kroxs plus the two versions have deepstrike
I wonder if it is a general bad thing for SoB that they can not really use a manifestiation lore, cause they can barely cast one endless spell in one round. But if they hit with their normal attacks, they hurt quite good.

I feel that the seraphon strategy was a losing strategy from the beginning. Sacrificing 3 turns of scoring primary objectives without engaging aggressively onto the gargants makes no sense. If you want to win against giants you need to kill 2/3 in first 3 battle rounds
well ill tell you, we played a match before this where i did just that and dave lifted each unit i threw at him in my turn. so i was fighting with half and army. if i could have gotten around the flanks slightly better i would have been able to pull down the win
