Hello, and thanks for this vid. If I'm not mistaken Parmigiani and his Tonda received 5 nominations in 5 categories last year (and received one award). They still have 4 nominations in 4 categories this year. It's quite impressive for such a "little" and "new" brand.
I wish this video was longer :( I like the hour long discussions/rambles/rants. Please do one on the releases for Geneva Watch Days and also one for Only Watch 2023! :)
Don't know why, but the '23 shortlist underwhelms me a bit. Jaded? Maybe. Gun to the head? Ferdinand Berthoud, though I see your Simon Brette point. 'Normal' watches? Parmigiani - gotta win something when it's in every category, right?! But really, the categories are a joke, as are the entry requirements, as is frankly, the judging.

great video!
Thanks for supporting my HMS Watch mate :-)
It was a pleasure to discover it, top design. Hope the GPHG exposure will help the brand
Is it weird that only 2-3 on this list make me "feel" anything? The rest just seem like "let's get it on the list so the brand feels represented."

Tudor always seems to win.
