    Thank you. This is my favourite poem since I first saw thick rows of daffodils in an English b&b Garden and later on the drive into Aberdeen. It inspired me to my own rows and clumps of daffodils in my garden and every spring this poem is alive.

    I wandered lonely as a cloud
    That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
    When all at once I saw a crowd,
    A host, of golden daffodils;
    Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
    Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
    Continuous as the stars that shine
    And twinkle on the milky way,
    They stretched in never-ending line
    Along the margin of a bay:
    Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
    Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
    The waves beside them danced; but they
    Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
    A poet could not but be gay,
    In such a jocund company:
    I gazed-and gazed-but little thought
    What wealth the show to me had brought:
    For oft, when on my couch I lie
    In vacant or in pensive mood,
    They flash upon that inward eye
    Which is the bliss of solitude;
    And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the daffodils.

    I am now of huge fan of Simon. Strolling the streets of my adoptive Paris, I am savouring every sentence he utters in his astounding voiceover performance of the Audiobook version of Pat Barker's (also astonishing) book entitled "Regeneration."

    Wordsworth would definitely have hated the Financial Times. What happens when one wanders on private property?

    Well...that was different lol. I think he should be on frequently, and will doubtless be more knowledgeable that any of the lame FT personnel to date.

    Why cant businesses buy vaccines, I'm sure there is enough, vaccinate its employees and get back to work, and ensure any visitor to the premises has had the vaccine before entry?

    This would’ve been more poignant if it wasn’t obvious that he was reading and not fully immersed in the words.
