Many thanks for posting this video. It explains everything you need to make the correct choice. I don't understand why the manufacturers don't do the same or, at least, they should publish a datasheet with all the details. Thanks again.👍
@LockheedMartinF-22Raptor-y8i Yes it is. Here is an article that references all the different names, but it's the same cooler: www.ietstech.com/post/when-was-the-iets-gt600/gt626-new-laptop-cooling-pad-released-officially/700/?srsltid=AfmBOorhkEK2AXjhy1T2ays9OmjnByLaEBeixlv_rEdAuKDqgoFnlHad
@NorsNorm I did reply to a comment who wanted me to take it apart further, so I tried to dismantle it even more but to no success. There is probably a snap-in-place mechanism that does a fantastic job of holding the unit together. I tried to prie it open to locate them but felt I was going to break it to open it any further. Not good if you want to clean the filter. A positive, it's built quality is a lot more strong than expected. If they make two changes to the BS1 for an updated version, it would make a lot more people happy. Add easier filter access and make it more sturdy when the arms are extended, it would be 🔥🔥
@hanhao1208 All the ones I've tested are bigger than the V10, also V10 is not as tall as other ones, maybe that could help if looking for the best smaller version, hopefully this helps
but if the cooling power of the llano v12 is similar at 1400 and 2800 rpm on a workload like the one analyzed, then it would be interesting to make a noise comparison between iets gt600 elevated at 2800 rpm and llano v12 at 1400 rpm. If llano wins then it is definitely superior. What do you think?
Nice comparison. I wanted the Llano at first but it was really hard to buy it in my country, so I bought the GT600 instead. Look like I traded a bit cooling performance for more quiet fan, more height customization and RGB? 😂 .
Hey thanks for the in depth video man!!! People like you really make TH-cam a wonderful place for good info first hand by real people! Hope you keep doing justice! Get more subs! This made me finally buy a cooler cuz I got sick of the heat 😂
@MrAkatosh Thanks Bro appreciate the kind words. I hear ya about the heat, you can feel it on your hands when you type. You're going to love it, when you turn it on and see the temperatures drop, it's a great feeling!
@andrewavp1476 The llano V12 cools better at max rpm (2800) to medium rpm (1400) elevated and especially not elevated. I would only get the GT600 V2 if you are looking for better rgb and going to have it elevated all the time and set to max rpm 2800. Hope this helps 👍 👍 For more info, video: V12 vs GT600 V2 th-cam.com/video/8e6hCqWyipw/w-d-xo.html
@@jpalacesneakers I got the GT600 instead. A few other reviews said they're basically the same, but the 600 has more elevation options which is better for the airflow. 😬 Happy with either to be honest but this review definitely helped me!
@andrewavp1476 If you have it elevated it's going to be 1 degree less in cooling power (or when the temperatures throttle it can match that 1 degree difference) so pretty much the same as V12, but has to be elevated! And the rgb on the GT600 V2 is 🔥🔥🔥 looks so clean and slick, honestly you can't make a wrong choice with either one!! Enjoy Brother!
@josealidanpintovargas3283 Go with the V12 or V13, I feel you'll be very happy with either one, both have the best cooling power and for the most part the largest base 👍👍 FYI: The base is the same size for the V12 and V13
V10 is more compact and easier to travel with, has a more slim look. The V13 (or V12 the rgb version) is more powerful gives you better cooling but is going to be bulkier. Hope this helps 👍
I have the same laptop but with 13900h, can you please use Gpu-z to monitor Gpu memory temp (gets close to 100 for heavy gaming) and tell us how much the Gpu memory temp decreases? Thank you in advance for your hard work!
Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc. Select the Performance tab. Find the GPU section and look for the current temperature. There are many tabs on the left side of the task manager, just have to scroll through them. Hope this helps 👍👍
Measure your laptop's dimensions (width & length), then compare with the measurements of the V13. See if it fits to your liking. Also, see where the bottom intake vents are located for your laptop and find a cooler where no foam blocks any of the under vents. Then it can benefit 100% from all the air the cooler releases. I don't own your model laptop since so many laptops out there, but follow these steps and it should be easy to find the cooler you like the most. OR My laptop is a 16 inch and it did have plenty of room to fit nicely. Yours is a 15.6 inch so it should fit somewhat the same, can look at the video closely and estimate if it will fit to your liking. V13 Video: th-cam.com/video/iqwO9vQ_rnA/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps 👍👍 Don't forget to sub, I'm a small channel trying to grow, best of luck Bro Bro!
@herrrooo8630 V12 at 1400 rpm since still gives incredible cooling power Anything lower than 1400 rpm I'm afraid does not give a lot of cooling power. Hope this helps 👍👍
What if i use a gt500 with highest stand? Will it still be able to perform well enough as well as not being so loud? (So maybe around low - mid fan speed?)@jpalacesneakers
@herrrooo8630 Unfortunately, the GT600 does not perform well in the cooling area as you lower the rpm (mid-low). You will lower the noise level, but the cooling power will drop significantly around those settings. Today's coolers are amazing, but the current technologies produces noise, no way around it for right now. Maybe in 3-5 years, the technology can improve, I'm also to eager to see what will be available. A good solution that helps some is a great set of headphones with noise cancellation can be very helpful. Hope this helps, I know it's not the best answer.
@rashadrahman7471 I don't own the Alienware m18 r2 to tell you exactly, but you can measure your laptop and see where the vents are located, then see which of these coolers will work best for you. I provided measurements in the video to make it easier for finding the right cooler. Hope this helps 👍
@juberwaki6839 I don't know for sure: if it's the most efficient idea, because if it just needs one filter, two could just provide maybe similar dust coverage. They might stop more dust that is similiar in size but smaller particles may still pass through. Best way to know for sure is to experiment: place two and see if the top one gets all the dust or if both get somewhat dirty then both are working together. Hope this helps 👍👍

Bro u did not share how is fly digi compared to these 2?how well does it cool on mid to high rpm?
Meaning, if you want a let's say 5°c temperature drop, you should to higher settings in GT600, and with that, you'll get louder db? right?
Correct, the more rpm (fan power - rotations per minute) you use, the better the cooling power but the louder the db you will get
