Everybody already knows how awesome the singer of this band is and I couldn't agree more. But I want to point out also the awesomeness of the drummer. Doom metal is not easy for a drummer even if it may seem so at first glance. It needs intelligent playing but not too machine-like. He is one of the best drummers I've ever heard and easily the best in this particular genre.
I agree. I'm a drummer, and I really love how tasteful this drummer is. Literally when I first heard these guys, the drumming was one of the first things that caught my ear. Aside from the singer of course.

Jón's clean vocals are slowly becoming my favorite in all of extreme music... the new(er) Iotunn album is really helping with that fact. The dude is incredibly unique sounding.

By far the best vocals doom metal had so far. And even among melodic death, whatever's your taste, he's among the tops.

Also the clean vocals reminded me a LOT of another doom (funeral) from Brazil - Helllight - fantastic as well). Have to see if it's the same person OR his twin!
