    Elongated notes come from within FL Studio's faux sustain option...Using the actual Midi CC64 controls within any plugin uses the real sustain abilities in which you no longer have those pesky elongated notes. Plus, the real benefit of using the cc64 is that any piano software like say, Addictive Keys or Wave's Grand Rhapsody, with the damper resonances or pedal noises, you'll get to activate those like in a real piano because otherwise all you are doing is making long notes and not real sustained notes like on an acoustic piano. This is just a comment for any fellow FL producers and not so much for the content creator.

    • @danoontjeh123
      @danoontjeh123 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Synthesize drums, or record samples. Then process them to make them sound real good, make a demo track for the pack and start selling it.

    • @Thes4LT
      @Thes4LT 7 ปีที่แล้ว +29

      It's not too hard, but you need good knowledge of how to use various plugins.
      808's and kicks are probably the easiest to make since they're just a sine wave played at a very low octave with a pitch and volume envelope. Any synth which allows you to automate either envelope will allow you to make an 808 or kick -- Massive, FM8, and Serum are a few I can think of off of the top of my head. There are many videos on youtube about making 808s with various programs, I'm sure you can find them with a quick search.
      Snares are a little different. You can make a synthetic snare like an 808 snare yourself using pitch envelopes and noise, but those always leave a lot to be desired. Your best option is getting a decent microphone and recording your own samples to use as snares. I've found that almost any kind of percussive sound around the mid or high range can be manipulated with re-pitching and EQing in order to create a snare-like sound. Creative layering of these sounds can make really nice and unique snares. In one case I used the cap of a water bottle hitting my desk to create a snare, you just need to be creative. Another option is to record your own claps. Layering the claps with slight delays and very minor chorusing gives a nice base clap sound that can be modified further with EQ and light auxillary reverb.
      Open hi-hats are generally just noise with volume envelopes, but sometimes they might have some tonal characteristics. Try using a noise generator or recording your own breathy or airy sound and highpassing it to get a hat-like sound. Lightly saturating or distorting your sound can also add some nice upper harmonics which can sound good in hi-hats.
      Closed hi-hats are pretty simple. Find or create a sound with a loud and quick transient which occupies a higher frequency range. I used the aforementioned bottle cap to get such a sound and simply transposed the pitch upward a couple of octaves, cut the sound very short, added a quick fade at the end,, highpassed it, and added some resonance around the 10k range. If you need a reference, look at the spectrum graph of an 808 hi-hat. That shape is what you're aiming for.
