I have an extremely hard time throwing a back loaded shot and with ease can throw a front. This helps me believe I can throw a roll shot. Every tuturial is backloaded.
Thanks for the video. It seems like everyone else tries to teach the back loaded method so the nose is up in the air, but I find that to be a harder roll to accomplish, trying to get my pinky to finish higher than my thumb.
Thanks! I think front loaded bag is going to be more energy efficient as well so you can throw more of them when you get the techniques down. There’s a lot of energy and stance changes that need to go into a back loaded bag and overtime will make you wear out both mentally and physically.
thanks so much for this video .it really helped me.I usually see a lot of roll videos but mostly with butterfly holds and my throwing style is similar to yours
@@WashedUpWarrior I just gotta work on straighting my throw because I don't throw flat enough bags.I also gotta work on throwing them a few inches in front ..I was aiming for the front of the bag.So while I was outside I went to you're video and made some adjustments..So you have a facebook
Great advice, have only hit the rollover by pure luck. My buddy and I started playing in 2019 just as I was turning 64, been in a few ACL tournaments with another coming up in October here in Phoenix. 2020 was a throwaway year, so just getting fired up again on the home front.
Funny. Another guy on TH-cam said the bag should be backloaded, or tilted backwards with the front end up, for a roll shot. Your technique is tilted forward.
That is the preferred method. However if for me if I have very slick bag on a slick board I would like to throw it front loaded so it trips itself on the other bags in the board and rolls. With a slick board the friction required to achieve the roll is pretty darn difficult for me so I mix it up. I throw back loaded with some of the carpet bags as they are designed to be thrown that way. But for Slick bag airmails and sliders for me. And if I try and roll a slick bag it’s front loaded. It works really well with a viper if the boards are sticky.
Lots of people including myself enjoy cornhole for fun and also for family events and it’s a great way for everybody to get together and have a good time, it can get competitive too. I think when you enjoy something enough you tend to want to perfect it so not sure why you feel the need to post a comment like that. Have a great day Glen.
Does this mean that much to you?? Explanation of it like it's a real sport.😆😆😆😆play golf where it really is a sport, many back yard drunks can Cornhole, golf is a sport, this is a game
I was subscriber 100 woo
Hopefully, many more to come!
The explanation of the process is perfect, makes perfect sense without over explaining, thank you! 🍻
🍻 🍻🍻
This video showed me how to roll! I’ve hit up to 4 rolls in one tournament and the expression in your opponents face when you hit it is priceless!
Awesome!
This is the best roll video and keeps it simple and clear
Thanks

This way seems way easier to learn than the back loaded shot. Will try this instead. Thanks!

Sweet video dano
Thanks!
Loved the video!
Thank you!!
thank for the instructional video. I'm definitely gonna start practicing the shot. Any bag preference on this shtot?
Ultra has a bunch of good bags. I enjoy the Vipers!
Rolling the Ultras are a bit more challenging but it can still be done. Some of the Reynolds bags generally roll and bounce with ease.
BG Vikings bruh
@@Weezy10580 Those too roll with ease
@@WashedUpWarrior I have a set of Reynolds "Victory" bags. Have you had luck rolling them?
What do you use on the bottom front of your boards so they don’t get scratched up on the concrete?
Turf grass or carpet
do you back load or just 50/50
When I throw faster bags like Ultra Vipers I front load it, so it kind of trips itself on the other bags to roll over.
I’m here from tiktok
Welcome!

CBS and ESPN show cornhole pro finals. Then you chose golf like people aren't throwing down beers while playing every weekend. Stupid opinion.
