Works very well. The mallet is for the fabric; bear that in mind and you won’t damage the beads. You’d have to over-hit the bags. The instructions show a firm hit-but not a wreckless hit. End result is amazing for my brand new Viper Rs.
So I cut and sew my own bags. Can I follow this scenario for softening up the canvas and ultra suede bag materials before adding fill? Does it make a difference?
@@davidthompson9665 you’ll wear the beads down while throwing them and they will kind of round into more of a bean but using a hammer with smash them into powder. Completely ruining the bags

It would be great if bags came broken in from the manufacturer. It seems like its only a matter of time before that will be the standard.
Some bag companies are starting to so that.
Titan bags do
I imagine some like to do it themselves. That way, the bag is personalized to their play style.
Would these instructions work for most slick/stick type bags?
Or you can just use a vinegar soak and run them through a wash and dry cycle.
Would hammering the bag break the resins?
Mallet both sides of bag or just the fast side?
What about bags with the control dots
@ultra cornhole, do you recommend this for any of your bags such as a Cobra R?
is this corn in the bags or resin beads
resin
You cannot repeat CANNOT wet bags with corn fill.
can't you just break them in with practice?
Yea. Just takes longer.
Hey ultra i followed your break in tutorial on my new over priced bags and busted the seams with a hammer.
Sorry warranty voided.
when using a mallet i would be afraid of crushing the resin pellets inside into powder.
I’m afraid of that part too
They won’t pound into powder. They are polymer pellets. Likely polyethylene or polypropylene plastic pellets of some sort.
Lol don’t smash your bags with a hammer
just curious, whats the difference in throwing them and them smacking into a solid wood board or concrete?

Hell naw
Is it safe to put these in the dryer after?
