It's amazing to know that he's actually in the beginnings of his disease here. If you listen to the lyrics you can hear it and he was in these recording sessions and hiding his pain and would run to the restroom to puke and cry as he explained in his chapters.. love watching baby Ren❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for making that comment! I love Trick the Fox and eagerly respond to reactors who listen to them, but the words belie the upbeat music and it is gutting to realize what Ren was going through at that time.
You can see the raw talent that inspired Sony to sign Ren. If things had been different, maybe Ren would have been a teen pop singer, in the manner of the day. Maybe he’d have been ultimately unhappy with the arrangement. We will never know. I feel a touch of sadness when I think of what was to come for Ren, in the very near future. It is a very well produced song!
Can’t help but rock out to this song. What a banger. I’ve watched a drum cover to this song by Office Drummer and it’s awesome to hear him just kill it and having a blast. If Ren had not got sick, would we all own Trick The Fox albums? I think so. Great reaction, Ken. Thank you
Tiberius I think The Warning and Ren are probably the most frequently reacted to artists and I often wonder what a collaboration would be like with them. It would break TH-cam. On this one I was day dreaming about a throw back mash-up of Fade Away and Run Away. Yes, I have ADD and my mind wonders places.
Honestly love each and every reaction. Went through the entire list today. 😅 I have a suggestion for Ren Ft. Babies, the song is called Crutch. Very underrated and under reacted to song. It is from when he is younger, and is completely different from most of his songs. I hope you will consider checking it out. Thanks so much.
I enjoy your commentary on the screen love seeing “Baby REN” here in the early stages of his career react to “Street Lights” the Live version from the Freckled Angels Album I believe I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the Jazzy sound ☺️🎵🎼🎶🎻
Your written commentary makes me chuckle out loud and sets you apart from the reactor herd. Also, I'm old enough to recognize the MMBB phrase but can't remember where it comes from. Is it a Who song? Not sure. Such is life as a 60 something 🙃
I am sorry for the young Ren for how they (Sony) treated him, but I am glad they did. It resulted in one of the best indipendent artists of our generation 😊
Ren has explained Sony nor anyone associated with these recordings was unfair to him in any way. When he made Freckled Angels, he asked to use the music recorded under contract with Sony and they gave it to him.
@@ige-individualgroupeffort-kenl Ren posted a video abd there are a lit if reactions already, I've been tracking fir our fan club spreadsheet. Will be interested to see how it goes. It was Ren's first television exposure. He owned that stage!
Memories of garage bands as a teen. None as good as TTF of course. But so much energy and members just having fun. Not to reveal my age, but another Runaway - by Del Shannon was my favorite. Do you know it? Similar vibe more instrumentation.
"Fire" would be a fun one too, great older one.
"Tiberius" is a fine middle name.
💯
Indeed it is. Now I just have to find another cat to dress up as a Gorn for a classic battle.

That was a sick drummer. And WTF can't Ren do!?! So young and such a well written song.
Its so good seeing that all the captivating charisma was blossoming.

It's fun to see you react to his old stuff. I love how Ren already had something special, and now you see Ren's growth
Trick the Fox "The mash up" is another older(younger) Ren you might enjoy.
Seconded 😊
I absolutely agree. It's one of my favorites.
Fantastic reaction as always, the kids always select this about 200 times every time we go on a road trip lol, thank you 🙏🐊❤️🦉👍
Why wouldn't they? That's just fun stuff right there.

Going through your reactions now, I might’ve missed it but if you haven’t done bongo bong, you have to do it :-).
They were so radio-ready, even then!
Ren was very sick at this time.
It is so interesting going back to see young REN after Kujo Beat Down just coming out.
Tiberius

Thanks for watching all the reactions! I have so many other Ren reactions to go so, if I do that one, it may be awhile. You're welcome so much, BTW.
I look forward to seeing them all. 😊@ige-individualgroupeffort-kenl
@ige-individualgroupeffort-kenl it is Ren ft. Bibi not babies 😂 got to love typos

Yessss 🎉 🦊❤
The drummer is Tommy Frampton he is now in audio engineering fyi ❤
Great video . Thanks
War Pigs is a GREAT choice.
A snare drum called Kujo, was FUNNY.
I also agree, Tiberius is a wonderful middle name.
Have an AMAZING day.
I love this song!!! Another good tune is Featuring Orlean called Jessica. I think you're younger than me I'm 58.
Unfortunately, I'm 62. I wish I was still 58.
I love his older stuff.

It was the title of The Who's Greatest Hits in 1971

❤❤❤
T for Tribbles? It was the first thing that came to mind.
It is for Tiberius, which is Kirk's middle name.
Really look forward to War Pigs, thank you 🙏🐊❤️🦉👍
I wonder if his snare was named Kujo. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ren just performed live Money Gane 2 at an Arts Award ceremoney in London. First time on television. Ladt night.
Please react?
Possibly. Award shows can be notorious pains in the ass when it comes to copyright regardless of the artists wishes and practices. We'll see.

I do know it and like it but my favorite Runaway song is from Bon Jovi..... before they really blew up.
His middle name is Tiberius?
It is indeed
