@@camillahempel-jrgensen8871 OH MY GOSH I would love to see Ramin live SO MUCH. I appreciate John Owen-Jones too but Ramin just has a special place in my heart!
No charging of a few hundred bucks a ticket. No lights, sets, costumes, not even a stage. Just a group of Valjeans, in everyday dress, reaching out from their own homes to bring a story of hope in tough times to the people going through such times, themselves included. Victor Hugo would be very proud.

Every one of these performers: angelic, understated, quiet, reflecting. Hugh Jackman: screaming at the highest vocal register and waking the entire barricade.

Alfie Boe, Ramin Karimloo, and John Owen Jones are 3 of my top 6 favorite Valjeans😆 (The other three being Nick Cartell, Patrick Dunn, and of course, Colm Wilkinson).
Never more relevant to me, my brave dad is in hospital suffering with Covid-19 and has pneumonia. Absolutely beautiful, cried like a baby but such incredible voices. I've seen the musical twice and hope to come again when you're open again. Love to you all and all your families, keep these coming to keep us home! Shelley x
Nick Cartell’s performance of this in Seattle about 6 years ago is the single most moving musical experience I ever expect to have. His performance was so good, you could feel the audience growing more silent, with absolute awe as it went on. Upon its conclusion, before the applause eruption - which took a second because no one wanted to make any sound that might step on that magical voice - you could hear murmurs of ‘wow’ ‘oh my god’….and as I scanned the crowd, not a dry eye in sight, including my own, as I was a shuddering weepy ball of melancholy. Goosebumps sharp enough to hurt somebody. What a gift to hear that…
I met John Owen-Jones at Les Miz vs Phantom rugby match many years ago and he was the kindest man ever! After a few years, when I knew he was Valjean on Broadway, I got to see him in the dream role. Magical night on broadway 😍
Alice and John at 2:51 are not just singing they are performing. Wow. Alfie’s rendition is my favorite out of everyone. He doesn’t over sing. It’s smooth and subtle and you just hear his amazing technique as in this.
Modbury Mission Community Yes, I was just thinking the same thing ... and maybe all the proceeds could go to the NHS for purchasing more PPEs for healthcare workers?
