I reckon its a prime candidate for Oil painting.. though well thinned so you dont have to wait forever for it to dry - I just cant believe the size of that "mini" really excited to see the next video on it

I'd say a various amount of inks put through an airbrush would be the most efficient way to get awesome colour transistions down, and going back and forth with black and white ink too to set an even more refined zenithal light source. It definitely needs at least a white ink to make the zenithal highlight pop. It would be cool to see various purple, dark red, brown, and green tones, with a lot of detail put onto the face and head. Then with a unique base scheme to tie it all together. You could even add water effects on the base and legs to make it look more atmospheric. The pattern on a leatherback sea turtle would suit this.

Thanks for the input. Going with oil washes after the base colors though. ☺️

Hey Don, would you consider painting a Corvus Belli infinity model in a future video - like one of their armored battle suits (TAGs) they such a blend of mecha inspired/anime designs and tabletop gaming, I would love to see what you would do with it

I would love to bro. But I do not have access to those minis. I do not want to import miniatures. That gets expensive fast. ☺️

I'd definitely stick to airbrushing the majority of that monster, and finish it off by hand--say, about the last ten percent of it or so? I can't wait to see what you end up doing with this kit!

Thanks bro! Thinking of airbrushing with transparent paints... then washes, then detail painting like the eyes. Should be fun bro. ☺️🎨🎨🎨

I love your content. I would use the airbrush for the most part and finish it with glazeing , maybe some washings here and there. But i'm pretty sure that whichever technique you choose, the figure will look epic

Airbrush and oils would be my choice for such a big monster

I agree... That combination seems like the best choice. ☺️

Are you intimidated by a mini this size? I would be so nervous that I would make a mistake.

Sort of bro. But I am focused on making the painting economical and efficient. I do not want to run out of air paints. 😅

Best part of the video was when you poured your primer all down the outside of your airbrush cup at 4.53🤣
    Sorry not sorry.
