The RUDICON Needs Help!

- In this video we are at an annual event called "Trail Hero" at sand hollow.
The video begins by showing us a pretty big problem with the RUDICONs steering. As we continue on with the trail we end up needing a bit of help from @trailmater to get us up an obstacle.
All in all we ended up having a wonderful day out on the trails with some amazing people.

The Rudicon has its own notoriety, just like the Morvair, Banana, and Trailmater.

That was EPIC! Imagine what the Rudicon can do when it is 2/3 DUN.......... Unbelievable where these vehicles can go without rolling over. Thanks for taking us along! 👍💯

those rigs are damned mountain goats.... always amazed where they can get , even with such low tire pressure... then again, that's the key..... strong tires with just enuf pressure to keep them on the bead
Rory is a bad ass. Every Moab trip we take, i hope to run into him. Not need him, but, run into him. That, looked like a perfect day. Wheeling, out door, and great people. Nothing better,... maybe a dog with me, other than that, that is a perfect day.
I saw him heading up to Top of the World when we were on our way down. 4Runner up there with a broken LBJ.

Thank you for posting this one Rudy! If all of ya'll that go on these post, we get to see so many more of the different angles, different rigs, so on and so on. Now down to the Rudicon......she may be 1/2 Dun, but she is a beast! I am thinking that since you posted this and of course with your intro you may have decided that Rudicon man be the direction you are going to go with your "personal" projects direction along with of course what ever it is you have cooking with Holly. Basically all I can say it is an awesome treat when I see the notification that you have posted. Keep it up and will be waiting for the next one!!

Thanks for showing us this. The Rudicon is insane, especially with you behind the wheel.
I was waiting for one of two to happen. 1.) A roll backwards or 2.) To see some steering part shatter into a gazzinion pieces. There is tremendous leverage from the tires being placed on the steering system and upper and lower ball joints. Hopefully when you convert you'll be able to oversize the vulnerable points. Look at the morrvaire failure. The terrain you're tackling is amazing and beautiful!

Your the main reason I haven’t gave up on my xj. Hoping by this spring I’ll have a transmission for it and can get it back going. It’s been my pride and joy and I’ve done so much to it just in inspiration from you and Your dad and the whole crew. Love your Jeep. ❤
Yeah, I know how you feel lol. I just had a transmission go out in one of my jeeps and I’m trying to find the motivation to either fix it or do a complete drive train swap. But I guess if you stick around, you’ll see what I end up doing.

94 Xj was mated to a 4.0
Gotta be a 97 aw4 for a 4.0. Tried others and it’s a off year.

The Rubicon needs more work sure but what rig doesn’t it’s a never ending cycle! I remember when you first started the mods and you have definitely came a long way. Thank goodness old Rory was there to help you out the big man is exceptionally cool. 😃

I have a 2006 TJ Rubicon and live in Florida. We have some mean mud , clay, and water here, and I have to say my Rubicon is up to the task. It has 35's on it and it is awesome. Love it !

I remember when i first started watching you guys' videos. I was thinking i needed to get some heart medication. well I've got used to your antics now (mostly), and you guys do some amazing climbs, it makes me wish I was younger, I used to ride dirt bikes so I am an adrenaline junkie, and I always altered everything. Cars, bikes, guitars,amplifiers, I just can't leave them stock. I so much enjoy seeing all you good people out there doing what enjoy, and having the camaraderie to challenge each other and keep on improving your rigs, I love it!

Great episode Rudy! Rory was showing his trail wisdom yet again. He is such a good driver he knows how to guide up a hard trail so well. Yes that missed turn was so so sketchy. But the articulation for only being 1/2 done is impressive for sure
