Excellent video Liam and Phil. You just couldn't have had it any better. Snow, steam & sun, and for a madam trip for Blue Peter. Very enjoyable watching. Kind regards C&A
Bravissimo.
Brilliant. There were two of you near the tunnel presumably. I can see one on the bridge and you must have been just up the hill beyond the wall above the tunnel. Well done!
What a spot for filming! Excellent video, thank you! I wonder why Blue Peter has such a strange whistle. Somebody stated in a comment that it was not British.
Hard to believe that this is the same engine that, many years ago, she suffered a blown cylinder from driver inexperience. Now look at her, trundling up the mainline like nothing ever happened. They've done well to restore her to peak running condition, now to be enjoyed by many for a long time.
@ No I actually have my GCSE in Geography. It was a joke as 30 years ago, 60532 failed in spectacular fashion at Durham Also if someone asks if a locomotive went through a place, it’s pretty clear they don’t know the route so do us a favour and get off your high horse
@ South African locos did not have chime whistles! (I went to see the last steam operations there in 1991 so can attest to that.) My understanding is that it may be a NZ chime, but if you heard what one of those sounds like when on song you would understand why this sounds so bad: th-cam.com/video/RpJ_b7QC-Ak/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_jatBnkvrs05UtSJ
Clearly a matter of opinion, but at least we have the opportunity to hear a New Zealand 5 five chime. Very similar to the one on 60013 Dominion of New Zealand which you can on the excellent Peter Handford recording on the EP 'Gresley Pacifics' which you can find on youtube
Well, there are no slugs on the railways, they are diesels. Haven't you noticed it's winter now and passengers need warmth that can't be provided by the steam loco?
Perhaps you should call yourselves Marsh Team Videos and take over an entire location. And when the location and the conditions and the occasion are good as this - why not
You ought to have zoomed in on Blue Peter, so she is the only thing seen in shot. Standing on the bridge is much better in snowy conditions. Standing on top of a tunnel? When there's no snow about, yes. Snowy conditions? No-no. You could lose your footing and fall. Too wide a shot for my liking, but very nice all the same. Long live Blue Peter.
Excellent video Liam and Phil. You just couldn't have had it any better. Snow, steam & sun, and for a madam trip for Blue Peter. Very enjoyable watching. Kind regards C&A
That chime is beautiful!
Lovely shots lads!
Top draw as always
That so-called "chime" is absolutely dreadful! Engine sounds good, though. Thank you for bringing it to us.
Now that's a sight, a steam train express in a wintery scenery
Terrific!! Very enjoyable, many thanks for sharing.
Brilliant shots Phil and Liam, can’t go wrong in those conditions 👍👍😊
Excellent - brilliant to see her back in action on the main line again. And in the snow too! Hope you guys are thawing out - looked a chilly one.
Cannot fail to raise goosebumps - many thanks
Fantastic video guys. You have captured Blue Peter’s return to rail tour service very well.
Another awesome video and enjoyed watching once again. Have a great upcoming Thursday. Steve
Watching From India, Nice Videography and Rail vlogging Mate😊
Absolutely magnificent in every possible way!!
Excellent footage there Liam and Phil of Blue Peter she sounds fantastic, Sun, Snow and Steam the perfect combination
Perfect in every way. Many thanks to you both, Liam and Phil. And I love that New Zealand five chime whistle.
That truly is Gods country!
Excellent camera work, many thanks for posting.

Bravissimo.
La vapeur est toujours plus impressionnante par temps froid. La neige est inhabituelle dans l'Angleterre en novembre.
Thank you for such a brilliant video and what superb snow countryside shots regards kevin😊
Shivers down my spine 🚂💨 Loved it 👍 Thanks for sharing 🌿
Excellent video the 3 S,.sun steam and snow ❄️ and blue peter fabulous but a strange whistle thanks guys
A sprinkle of snow ,sunshine ,blue sky, and a steam train , great stuff.
Very much enjoyed the video. Blue Peter is such a fantastic sight.
Liam & Phil, Superb captures. Regards, John
Brilliant footage well done
At least blue Peter is running smoothly this time without breaking down
Wow. Not that I’m pleased about the weather but that’s a great video. Reminds me of the good old days of winter steam. Well Done
Nice footage in perfect snowy conditions
Brilliant. There were two of you near the tunnel presumably. I can see one on the bridge and you must have been just up the hill beyond the wall above the tunnel. Well done!
Superb, thanks so much for this one, you must have been freezing!
What a spot for filming!
Excellent video, thank you!

Beautiful!
Very enjoyable video and good sound!
Excellent last lingering shot.
Excelletn - stunning. thank you.
Nice the video, thank you 👍

Super well done :)
Looking brilliant in Blue! Did she go near Durham at all?
Rugby to York. I guess you failed Geography.

Marvelous…appreciated..the Netherlands
When am I gonna see this paired with Tornado already!......and Flying Scotsman too!!!
That went past me as I was stood at Norton level crossing last Friday
So nice videos
Lovely footage! (I wish someone would fix that bloody whistle though, it should sound fantastic but DOESN’T!)
It’s a South African chime whistle but definitely sounds different since I saw her at Rugeley in July

@@struck2soonIt does sound a bit like the one that 60013 had but not half as pleasant.
@ I have that recording and in my opinion Blue Peter's abomination is only vaguely similar.
What whistle are they using on the locomotive? It sounds Australian.
Not far off, it's Kiwi
@Northerner_Transport_Hub oh nice! :3
It sounds amazing! >w
That train looks just like The Royal Scot from that Hornby train set I saw on TH-cam a long time ago! 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃
Great.
Always a shame to see a "slug" hanging on the rear
They have to have one for a) rescue if the steamer fails b) assistance up the banks , trailing load is >700 tons.
Well, there are no slugs on the railways, they are diesels. Haven't you noticed it's winter now and passengers need warmth that can't be provided by the steam loco?
I always thought Britannia's chime whistle sounded a little off, but that sounds as if it was dropped on the workshop floor 🤔😒
It’s a whistle from New Zealand
Gorgeous conditions. What has been done to the whistle? It sounds horrible.
Perhaps you should call yourselves Marsh Team Videos and take over an entire location. And when the location and the conditions and the occasion are good as this - why not
Must get that whistle fixed. Brilliant video
Sounds like B.P. has laryngitis! Weird whistle!
Yes, her whistle is at least strange.
Meanwhile, in the South we had 44871 on the Christmas Sussex Belle: th-cam.com/video/LxXz6KlyE0E/w-d-xo.html
Beautiful engine, scenery, snow...all except that dreadful whistle. What were they thinking?!
If it's necessary...OK, but I hate the diesel back-up...spoils the asthete.

She sounds excellent. Shocking whistle. Spoils her grace.
What a horrendous whistle!!! Gorgeous exhaust beat though... and another fantastic video!!!!
