Evolving Mega gyarados costs 200 Mega Energy the first time, and 40 Mega Energy next time.
Gyarados will be 100% IV if you encounter one with 1937 CP and with the weather boost 2422 CP. Good luck hunting for a Shundo Gyarados.
Mega gyarados is a water/dark type Legendary and has a 2x weakness against Grass, Electric, Fairy, Bug and fighting Pokémon. Gyarados's best moves are Waterfall and Hydro pump. A shadow Gyarados will be stronger than a normal/ purified Gyarados.
