Hi! You should choose less stretchy fabrics to sew this cape. If you are sewing a winter coat, you should choose a thick and warm main fabric, the inner side can use a thinner fabric or a fleece fabric. And if you sew a sunstop cape, you should choose cotton fabric for both sides to sew and the cape can be worn on both sides.
