I bought a piano 3 days back and I am going crazy with this detailed tutorial. It's like I found the piano version of Let's Play Guitar ( Yeah I play guitar! ). Keep at it! ^__^
omg thankyou for this!!! i can play really well memmorizing the keys and listening to the notes by ear. but when it comes to sight reading, i'm REALLY REALLY FREAKING SLOW because i'm very new to classical. your tutorial helps alot!!!! thankyou!
Hi PianoSecrets, I just want to say thank you. This is the best tutorial I have ever seen. I have been working on this piece for 2 months now using the music sheet and your video. Not only it help me to learn the piece but also understand the music theory behind each section. This video has been open on a tab on my computer for 2 months. I can play the whole piece now! You putting this up for free is incredible... I am moving on to some Satie pieces and then some Chopin, I'd love to learn them with the help of your tutorial (if you have them). Respect.
I am 3 years late, although I bought a Yamaha P125 about a month ago. Just because of this beautiful piece. I already knew the basics of the piano. I found this video. And after 2 weeks or 3 of this video. I have finished the full movement, I am so happy. Thank you PianoSecrets for this video. I just need to practice until i master it. Thank you again!
This is amazing. I'm going to go through it over the next couple of days. Thank you so much for making this. I am nearly blind and reading music is really hard for me. I learn so much better through videos like this where someone explains the notes. ♥️
Finished! It took me a month and a half, which is a little bit longer than I expected, but I practiced every day and made steady progress. Thanks a TON!
You are an AMAZING teacher! Wish YT was around when I taught myself this piece years ago lol. Thank you for sharing your talent. Looking forward to playing again soon
Very helpful. i'm really appreciate your teaching. Thank you so much for making such an amazing turtorial. I can't beleive that finally i could be able to play this masterpiece.
It was my dream to learn this piece and I did manage to finish after several weeks of relentless pursuit, great work , thanks a ton. I had some basic understanding of the chords when I started this tutorial. Please post Mozart's piano concerto no 21 tutorial same way u taught this..
Thankyou so much for you clear and detailed explanation of this beautiful piece, throwing in all those chords did make it confusing for a newbie but it also forces us to absorb that knowledge and use it to our advantage. Many thankyou's kind sir
Oh my god ... thank you sooo sooo much 😢❤ you are the best tutor ever. My dad bought me piano for my birthday last week and i was wondering what piece should i play ... and i found your youtube channel ! 😇😍 Thank you sooo much for wonderful tutorials.. it really means a lot for us 😊😊
Just wanted to say that this is one of my favourite channels. Keep up the good work! I learned Für Elise thanks to you and the Moonlight Sonata is also on my list.
@@PianoSecretsChannel And I had a good run so far. :) I wonder if you also do requests? I'm dying for someone who would da lesson of John Field's Nocturne No 7 in C Major. There are some lessons for Field out there but they usually are about No 2 or no 5.
Hello, I’ve been playing piano for 16 days now. I really want to learn the beginning of this piece around minute 16:00. I’ve learned the first part till minute 7:45, but from there it gets kinda hard for me but i’m still trying. I just wondered if this is right for my level?
This piece always sounds like it should be easy, but when you get to that part of the progression, it’s all about voicing and technique. That will take time to achieve. Come back to every now and then one day it will fall in place but don’t think about setting targets like “I should be able to play this in a year” it really doesn’t work like that.
@@asadsalman5780 learning an instrument doesn’t have to do with being very intelligent, it has to do with dopamine, cognitive functioning, and whether you like it or are forced to play it, and a small amount of intelligence, if you genuinely enjoy it then it will be easy to play. Whenever you enjoy something, the dopamine release can have a major impact in satisfaction and enjoyment, which can drive you to play more and overall better. Maybe he doesn’t enjoy it that much or doesn’t have the drive to play it, but don’t assume that he’s playing wrong or he’s not intelligent enough, maybe he doesn’t practice often or doesn’t enjoy it as much as others.
Awesome lesson Sir! IT was made tough by throwing inversions while playing the chords...kinda confusing \frustrating when trying to follow along. I kept switching back and forth as the lesson went on.
One of the best piano tutorials ever... such a beautiful piece explained in such a simple way... loved it :) just one thing.. it would have been good if u would have taken the last part slowly it would have been better... had to look at it many times to get it right
This is amazing. And its hilarious because the keyboard you are using is either the exact same as mine or is using the same sounds so this is so much easier. Amazing.
What I like about your lessons is that you use a harmonic and theoretical approach that elucidate the structure of a given piece. How about an improvisation based upon the progressions in the Moonlight Sinata? In your tutorials you might want to show a way onto improvisation as that is also a good ability to have as a pianist.
