Genuinely, I don't even have "Nunchucks" in my Top 50 Hua Hua Performances. 😂 Even the hand movements are a language. He does so many genres. Maybe you would like his SynthPop song "Flight Mode" from his Mars 2021 Concert. Or "Aliens" or "Dust in the Fireworks", or "Flying Conductor", or..... EVERYTHING is wonderful.

It's also refreshing to see a reactor watch several of Hua Hua's more enjoyable songs before being pressured to watch his darker songs. Yeah. 🥰 If you do 7 Personalities I recommend to watch the video from the New Years gala. The Singer 2020 one is amazing too but the Singer 2020 videos mostly get blocked by youtube.

Knew you'd love this one. "Seven Personalities" is another great song. "Child" is beautiful. If you can find the video to the following (I had to get it from another reactor once) official version of the song "Us" with back story it is so worth the reaction. He said it is a song that only needs to be sung once and so he only sang it once. It is my understanding that it had to be queued up from that entire show of that week in order to be reacted to. If I can find it I will send you a link , because not many people react to it and although it is a love song it is beautiful and done in only the way Hua Chen Yu can do it. There is a video on TH-cam but it's not the right one. It has to be the official video from the show. This song was a blast. Thx for reacting. ✌❤😎

I love your face when HuaHua continues to switch up his styles.
He's a 90's kid too, so although from another country he had some of the same musical influences.
I find it so hard to choose a favourite from HuaHua's songs, he can switch the style up like no-one else, and although I love his lively stuff, but he puts so much of himself into each performance, actually acting out the song as he sings, he is like a mix of a Chinese Bowie & Freddie Mercury with a bit of Thom York & Matt Bellamy thrown in!
As a recommendation, I'd say Mad House from his 2019 Mars concert or 7 Personalities New Years' Eve Gala 2020.
Yes. That's how I describe him.. David Bowie and Freddie Mercury in one person. Being a prolific Compiser/music arranger and multi instrumentalist let's his mind run wild. Even his look is chameleon like. And listening to Muse, Radiohead, Linkin Park... growing up obviously influenced him. I was a fan of Queen BEFORE they became famous, and Freddie would have loved Hua Hua's mind. No barriers. Probably better to let Nick settle into Hua Hua's Rock style music before introducing him to his gentler side. And of course his performances on The Next show, which are among some of my favourites. Especially as he only had 24 hours in which to arrange/compose them, before going live. 😮

This is epiç, for me his version is more beautiful and powerful than the original ✌️. I heard the original but this one is more amazing, Huahua is a versatile artist and his one of the top artist in mainland China. His very unique, genius, very kind man, humble and funny too. His 2013 audition for Superboy (a singing contest) with an original composition is super unique and gives you a better understanding of his personality through his performance and conversation with the judges. It's not reacted to very often, but I think it's definitely worth checking out!

Hi Nick! That was another fun and cool reaction, had to laugh at the start when you thought it's a sad song about martial arts 🤣 But you were right on point, Hua Hua did rearrange this straight rap song soft and hard as the nunchucks. And I agree with you that when HuaHua rearranges a song, he finishes it. I can't listen to the originals after listening to Hua's rearrangemets, except for one song which I like both the original and Hua's covers but they're like two different songs, it's "Heaven", original by a Mongolian singer called Tengri, who was also competing with HuaHua in Singer 2018, and the cover by HuaHua is from a show called The Next S2 2017. Cheers! (Sharing in the groups) P.S.: Don't cut Hua's videos too short as he often does dramatic pauses before finishing his songs, you might miss the end...

You should also listen to Zhou shen. He competed with Hoa chenyu in Singer 2020. Very different styles, but both are very unique.
