      So true. I used to drink zero water( i know terrible) and I decided to start and monitor my skin. I was shocked at how different my face looked and how good I felt. Now I drink minimum 70-75 ounces a day. I weigh 120 so a little over what I need but boy nothing has helped more. It’s unbelievable.

    I've always thought that atrophying facial muscles for years on end with botox would just accelerate bone loss from lack of muscle stimulation. So that this tool of anti-aging would actually end up aging people prematurely, even if they did remain crease-free.

    • @user-qe5zj1sr8h
      @user-qe5zj1sr8h 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Bone loss will happen wether we use botox or not. Meanwhile, we can either wear wrinkles or not if we opt for Botox

    • @MsHafekasi_
      @MsHafekasi_ 5 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@user-qe5zj1sr8h Sure, but bone loss happens faster when we don't use the corresponding muscles. And inversely, bone mass increases, even as we age, when we exercise muscles. Thus my comment about botox potentially leading to accelerated bone loss and, paradoxically, facial aging. There are also other ways to treat wrinkles than just botox, it's not a case of having either botox or wrinkles.

    I totally agree. I've had Belll's palsy twice, on the right side. The second time I was 19 and it didn't fully heal - I have a much smaller range of motion in my muscles (much smaller and lower smile, inability to do the same crazy frown with my nose or raising my eyebrow high). For many years I just accepted it, because it was just that - asymmetry in the face, while animating. Now I'm 39 and a few years ago something changed drastically - my right side now has a huge jowl, my eye and ear are actually a bit lower than on the other side, my nasolabial fold on the right is brutal. I mean, my left side aged as well, but the discrepancy in the rate and style of the aging is really annoying. My left side is thin, strong and higher. I don't know if I have less fat on the left or if it's just positioned better, but the fat on the right just moved downwards, into the jowl and nasolabial fold. Looking from the front my right side actually looks fat, only from the side you can see the thinness (overall, I'm rather thin - 60kg / 174 cm - and have a small face, with small bones). I totally see how chronic use of botox might weaken the muscles and bring about results similar to the ones I'm experiencing on the right side after not fully healed Bell's palsy.

    I know about the drooping eye brow ok. I let the botox wear off and put up with the return wrinkles as long as I could to let the muscle strengthen again and before I had to travel again, then went to a botox doctor who injected in a way where I could still raise my eyebrows with a minimum amount of wrinkles in the relaxed state, rather than a droopy eyebrow with no wrinkles from too much botox as run by deals in Thailand. I'm very happy now with this balance. I'm 59.

    I have done facial exercises since my mid twenties for ten years along with sunscreen, vitamin C and then bakuchiol until I jumped on the gold standard ingredient band waggon and tried tretinoin for almost two years. Because of the sensitivity I got from tret I couldn't tolerate all those things I did before.
    The outcome was not good and I am so over the hyped tretinoin and over people who tell you that facial muscles aren't important.
    I am off tret for half a year now and back to my old routine and do already see great results. I would never let anybody put botox in my muscles.
    The facial muscles are sculpting and lifting the face.

I have built up to using it two nights in a row and then one night off. It seems to be going well with no noticeable dryness or irritation, but my forehead wrinkles look worse!! Is this part of the process? Will they improve again? I hope you can enlighten me!

    I had two small, deep scars on my nose, and a month ago, I underwent CO2 laser treatment. Unfortunately, this has resulted in more scarring and uneven skin texture. I also noticed some white bumps under the skin, which might be fluid-filled. A week ago, I tried microneedling, but haven't seen any improvement yet. Could you please advise on the best steps to improve my condition? Also, I’ve heard about Morpheus8 and wonder if it could be beneficial for my situation.

      Reflux could be caused if you eat too late. If you have no other option but to have a late dinner, 30 minutes after dinner, you can start exercising. This way, you will help your digestion. It is also important not to have a heavy dinner. A little white meat and vegetables are a good option for dinner.
