Thank you for doing this review & you made me proud. This movie is a love letter to the blaxploitation era, it’s a reminiscent of JD’s Revenge i watch it every year during spooky season & here comes the fun facts: Ernest R. Dickerson do cinematography on Krush Groove, Disorderlies, Spike Lee’s early movies & Def By Temptation. He went on to direct Juice, Tales From The Crypt Demon Knight & Bullet Proof with Damon Wayans & Adam Sandler. He said that Snoop Dogg was blushing the entire time while filming because he got to work with his childhood crush Pam Grier. Lupovich looked like Billy from Thinner. Bianca Lawson is the daughter of Richard Lawson. Richard Lawson was also in Sugar Hill (1974), Scream Blacula Scream, Poltergeist & a ton of other movies & tv shows. Bianca Lawson is an eternal teenager. She’s been playing a teenager her entire career. I loved Def Jam Fight For New York.

That's true, Russ. I'm doing better now than I was last week. Took a while to adjust to the changing of the season and now I feel good. 😊

TG! I was about to hit the sack, saw your video, and went right to it. Just wanted you to know that. Keep it up, keep it coming!
About the movie, "Bones" I vaguely remember the advertising for the film. I have not seen the film. The premise of the film is imaginative and sounds interesting. That Pam Greer was in this film, I WANT TO SEE IT!
Thank You for bringing this film up.

They're not teens, they're young adults in their twenties. Anyway, this movie was ALRIGHT. It could have been better. The effects were rather goofy and a bit overly done or cheap looking (like Lupavich's aging make-up around the eyes). They needed to explain more on Jimmy's connection to the dog, why it took the dog eating to bring him back, and why it took his blood to destroy him, and how Jimmy was just ruler of the underworld or something. They also never explained what Jimmy did as a career. Pretty weak story that needed more going on for it.

I'm aware that there are not teenagers in real life, it's the movie that wants to say that they are "Teenagers". I agree with what you said in the comments. 😊

@@TG5455 No, they weren't teens in the movie either. Jimmy's daughter was 21 years old since Pearl was pregnant with her when he died in 1979 and her boyfriend knew Jimmy when he was a young child as there's a flashback of this, so he's in his twenties too. The others would be the same age range. No one is a teenager.
