    Brilliant video GV . So interesting and so much to see . Each monument carved by hand and not cast and made in their hundreds . Respect to the woman who had the college built a selfless thing to do . Thank you so much GV x

    It's a shame when so much was invested in these memorials, and now they are forgotten and degrading. Great video GV.😊👍

      Only so many generations visit their family after that they are forgotten. Thank goodness for Grave Visitations and Serenity Sue along with a few others that share their stories with us so they are once again remembered and their stories told.

    After the Christian cross, the urn is one of the most commonly used cemetery monuments. The design represents a funerary urn, which is thought to symbolize immortality. The drape over the urn, or any other part of a monument, is said to symbolize the veil between life and death. Something I just learnt tonight while watching this.
    What a peaceful place. Thanks Irish Eyes 👍

    Sad to see nature taking over this graveyard. While I understand it costs money for upkeep, a lot of graves are being lost. Still a beautiful place, great video, thank you!

    @Grave Visitations One question, I'm from Germany, most of the tombs have pharaohs with Masonic system boards in the cemeteries in England, these stone houses tombs, they're still pharaohs, aren't they?

    • @GraveVisitations
      @GraveVisitations  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pharaohs in Germany?

    • @tinak.2469
      @tinak.2469 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GraveVisitations I've watched videos of cemeteries in England, most tombs have symbols of pharaohs and I've noticed Masonic symbols too. Here in Germany it's not so much, you only see these symbols on some houses. That's why I asked, many people know this story too. These pharaohs later became Freemasons, they fled across the sea when they were still Knights Templar and also settled in Scotland, before all the USA and other countries and unfortunately still trigger wars to earn money.
