Veritas green Chrome Oxide. It's much finer that the Tormek paste (0.25-0.5 micron vs 2.5-5 micron for the Tormek paste), the product lasts far longer (one bar will last for years), is way less messy and in my experience produces a finer (sharper) edge. The vertical cut at the end is just superb. Beautiful.
I have always wanted one of these style of knives.
What’s the honing compound you use? And how does it work compared to Tormek’s one? 😊

@@iSharpen Oh great thank you!
Scary sharp! I just ordered 100packs of rizzla greens. I think you said in some of your videos that those are equivalent to the ones you are useing?
Yep, fun times ahead.
I wish I can do that
You can. You just need the right teacher.
Looked like a small bevel Baz what did you do that at 14% per side =28 ?
@@bobcambridge8870 yep, 14° per side = 28°. It's a very thin knife. Probably about 0.25mm. Thin = small bevel.
@@iSharpen That was a good guess, I need a Kangaroo tail or maybe half to make a strop like yours, I’ll message you over the weekend and get it sorted
@@bobcambridge8870 look forward to it Bob.
Wish i could order a wide tail but i am in California.
@@jamesbeirn3407 speak to Gavin Nuisance. He doesn't want you to have one.
Please stop showcasing knives that will make my wallet bleed :(
