swiftmend matters, you can build around it in your talents by skipping 50% increase on the already low regrowth hot-talent & let swiftmend remove it if you go for 2x swiftmends & the 40% cd reduction to procc tree of life over and over again, and spam grove guardians to reduce the actual tree of life cd 5s from every guardian fading. Spend as much time as possible in treeform for cheap rejuvs that actually heal big on low targets with the talent for it, or build around proccing the 8sec+25% healing from windstalkers buff. I will give both approaches a try

I hate the fact that they are missing the biggest problem about Colossus Arms: DEMOLISH IS BAD. the whole point of the skill is to be an unstoppable force of destruction as long as you set up your kill (and your stacks) and with the amount of cc that there is in the game, the fact that you have to pop a defensive to even use the skill proprely, and even that does not garantee that you'll land your demolish, is bad skill design overall. like if they wanna force the slow paced, hard hitting arms i'm all for it ive been crying for it for years. but what they do is give us a skill that cannot be competitive with all the mobility and cc in the game currently. at least make us be able to move slowly while we use it like yeah then we would consider going colossus... cause i don't call damage reduction a buff. might as well make it a protection hero class.
I had an idea for demolish. I would make demolish a insta cast when you get full stacks and then you get a buff after you used demolish. Let’s say a 10% damage buff for 10 seconds instead of having it a channel that makes you immune to cc. Lower the base damage of it and have it go on its own GCD. So you can do Mortal strike and demolish in the same GCD for big burst

Remember when they introduced PvP talents? That shit made people mad because of how cool and powerful some of them were for some classes, and PvE players had no access to them. I’m a game dev myself and it makes me so fucking mad to see that they work around just fixing some numbers and multipliers for skills by creating sub-classes -and talents etc.. But in the bigger picture, no dev at blizzard plays the game, and they keep adding stuff which makes it even harder to balance everything. Now we’re at a point were some classes are entirely useless (not niche or fun to try to PvP with, USELESS) and some specs too. Even some talents and skills are useless so everyone plays the same « builds ».
-So non-KM obliterate average hits for ~200k-230k on players (roughly 3% of an hp pool). 12% buff takes it from 3% to 3.4% of someone's hp pool. -KM obliterates (during pillar) hit for average ~600k on players (roughly 8% of an hp pool). 12% buff takes it from 8% to 8.9% of an hp pool. -Frost strike is more straightforward since it never crits. Average frost strike also hits for ~600k. So the 12% buff takes it from 8% to 8.9% of hp pool. Being that Obliterate and frost strike are your only source of 'kill pressure' damage, the buffs in effect will allow you to do on average ~0.5% more of someone's hp pool every global. This is essentially why Mes said these buffs are nothing. You will not notice these at all.
i dont know if i would call the arcane mage changes as buffs, its just the pve nerfs from the anniversary patch being reverted for pvp (the same values being buffed are the same values we were nerfed last patch) while also nerfing our burst. overall we will do the same consistent damage as before the anniversary patch, our burst will just suck in comparison.

The whole "that 8% is actually more than 8%" statement doesn't make sense. It's an 8% increase on both PvE and PvP. Algebra: 100 => 112 100*1 => 100*(1.12) 108 => 121 100*(1.08) => 112*(1.08) = 100*(1.12)*(1.08)

Nah if you look at the ladder, some frost dks were already high in SS and 3s, but no one was high as fire. Frost dk was better
