My statlock wont stay locked. no matter how hard I try and move it, it keeps popping open often at night, but any other time.. This is my second statlock and problem is still present. I have a #20 cath. Very frustraiting. Any suggestions?

For detailed product information, including warnings, and precautions, refer to the "Directions for Use" included in the packaging. As your complain is of statlock won't stay locked. So, for this, Make sure the Leg is completely straightened.. Too much slack will allow the catheter to over rotate and cause kinking. Proper skin preperation is essential to the success of statlock foley stab device to stay longer. . Use 3 to 4 alcohol wipes to clean your skin. Removing any oils and lotions if present. Apply both skin protection pads to the targeted skin and allow it to dry completely for 15 seconds. Hope it helps. Thank you !
This video should point out that these instructions are for female patients and not males. More then 1 " must be used because males have to have more slack in the catheter to make up for the movement of a penis. 1" does not allow proper movement up or down or when legs are spread apart.
This is the most defective device. Once it is on a patient, the only way to remove it is to pinch with a pliers. I have strong hands and even with 2 hands it won't un clip.

Make sure the arrow is pointing up, not down!! If it's pointing down, it kinks it!!
There is an elastic Leg band to use in place of this temporary stick on fall off device that is expensive for what it is🔮
No mention of body hair! Quite important, especially for male users.
