    These guys are amazing! Peab's crew and team members are amazing and performing great teamwork, everyday across the city in order to keep a high standard of traffic security, road maintenance, and high quality of roads.
    Most of the projects starts after midnight or during vacation period as there is less traffic on roads. To keep the roads, streets and traffic secure is one of the most expensive tasks for the tax payer in Sweden. This is how streets and roads paves and repaves with Peab eco asphalt after resurfacing.

    The Swedes certainly bear a different rhythm to their work, deliberative, wielding a lot more preciseness, and having a meticulous approach to the work, unlike that evident in the U.S.A. wherein the work tends to a frenetic pace, an almost bravado.
    Second to this, I came across this presentation while surfing and viewing heavy equipment presentatins but slowed down and then paused to listen to the song and music, especially the music at roughly ~43:00 on the thread. Who is this, what is the group? The overall music proves unusual sounding.

    • @AlexKall
      @AlexKall 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They are not shoveling asphalt under the lid. They are lifting a ring that the "lid" sits in, the ring is connected to a pipe. It's a telescopic construction that adapts to the surface thickness.

    I reckon its brilliant how they are not running around like headless chickens.... they are doing the job to a very high standard, all manholes and gratings are being raised to the right level, the operator on the roller is travelling at the correct speed so the material is compacted correctly, Here in the UK jobs like this are done at breakneck speed because the saying is (time is money) what a load of Bullshit.... The Swedes probably won't need to do anything to that road for the next 10-15 years.... In the UK the road will start to deteriorate within 24 months, it's just false economy.... High speed application... Low grade materials.... Costs more in the long run, Before anyone starts throwing their teddy bears about, our traffic density is probably higher than in Sweden which equals higher wear on the roads... so wouldn't it be better if we used top grade materials and do the job right rather than at breakneck speeds, just to make the balance sheet look good...
    Please don't get me wrong for the above comment... I love my country... But we do some daft things in the name of economy..... Anyway great video..... I love the shiney trucks, can't believe how long the draw bars are on the trailers.... Thanks for sharing

Just look at the one they are replacing!. Be a good surface in much of the USA. Loose stone covered in waste oil and rolled down doesn’t make for good surfaces. The only "astonishing and unbelievable" in this video was that guy in the tube walking down the street. Was that one of the workers? :) Anyway, this looks like just about any other asphalt resurface job anywhere in the U.S. Not that it's a bad job, but from the video description I kept looking for something amazing. I guess that's why they call it Click-Bait.

    Catch basin and manhole covers should be elevated with prefabricated concrete rings not shoving a bit of asphalt under the lid and into the hole ultimately. WTF? No hard hats, safety glasses, and long pants to protect against 360 degree asphalt. Too many safety violations. Putting his foot inside the hot asphalt bin and moving the asphalt is a no no. At least over there they don’t have the maniacs driving on the road that North America has around construction 🚧 sites.

I will not watch any more of your garbage because you don't even have enough respect for your viewers. No one wants to "ride along as you get to the subject matter". You did not include that in your heading and you should have. It should read "Drive to site of modern road asphalt peab+bomag+vogele-pavement!" Don't dupe your viewers into watching something that isn't part of what you are trying to promote.

      Safety plus quality goes before getting it done fast. We are not that stressed out in Sweden, we like to work efficiently(lagom) for all the day, instead of burning out. In any way, it is fixed price for the job, so it is up to the company to push them harder if they need to move along, but they don´t need to, PEAB is still one of the most profitable companies in Sweden.
