Based. Love that someone finally mentions as you called it "placebo effect", the illusion of smooth pads feeling faster than they actually are. I had such experience with Esp. Tiger GM, it gave the illusion of being very slick because of its smoothness but in reality it wasn't even faster than Artisan Zero and even with the Raiden, i can feel the tug in microadjustments and large motions, my Mid Raiden doesn't really feel faster than Hien, just smoother. I can't imagine how dang smooth Energon is if even Raiden feels more abrassive in comparison as it is the benchmark of "silky smooth".
You need to try an Energon. Maybe even go through my afilliate link in description? 😝 Based mousepad, based company, crazy good performance. There's a reason I've sold off the other pads I main now. I am not joking about this one right now nor am I shilling for views.
It's so smooth that you can't even feel any weave texture. It's almost like the underside of a vaxee pa or zowie gsr-se but in cloth form, to the touch at least.
You might have instantly sold me on this... My favorite pads are the silky smooth non textured ones (Puretrak phoenix, Raiden, etc) and if it's between an artisan mid and soft firmness much like the non-pro LGG pads, it just might literally be perfect.
This with the pulsar es2 alpha cell sticky base? Needs to happen. I've been using the bruce lee es2 for the last month or so and it honestly just is the perfect base I've never used anything that comes close
That is actually what Lamzu is considering doing because of the poron issue! Fingers crossed it comes to fruitation and I will also try to push it that way in their DMs 👀
Awesome review dude! ❤🔥Loved the intro🤣 I received this pad and the Atlantis Mini in black today. Looking forward to trying them both out. Heard great things about this pad. I had to air it out for a few hours before being able to use it due to the smell like you mention
@@hone-pq7pp Unfortunate that is the case, but if you like how this pad feels, look into the ESPTiger ChuanYun, which would be the closest thing. If you enjoy this smoother type feeling, Puretrak P-51 Mustang is also one of my top recommendations, and Errennir Gecko (my new main and best performing pad, review coming soon).
No clue on Energon pro but I'd definitely assume it will be in the next few months. Could be worth getting loque then energon pro when it releases as neither should be too expensive.
Is this too fast for games like valorant or csgo? Im afraid that it has too little stopping power and I wont be able to get used to it since i have been using a qck that is quite slow.
I know that its kinda soon to tell but how would you say the durability is so far? Durability was a major factor in landing on the mpc450 personally, and I am curious how this stacks up!
It's far too early to give an accurate gauge, but it seems alright for now. I wouldn't consider this to be of the highest quality in terms of durability given that it's not made of the most premium materials, and things such as spandex is known to become less elastic over time (think all your compression type clothing as they stretch). That being said, all mousepads wear out eventually and especially given this pad is priced well, I don't see an issue in purchasing a new one whenever it is necessary. It definitely won't be one of those that need replacing every month, but I suspect it probably won't last 3 years without a problem either.
@Borna its really good! Had mine for probably 6ish months now and it really doesnt have any signs of wear. I cleaned it with a wet wash cloth and a wipe recently and it felt like new!
Just got this pad, Not as quick as my Aqua Control 2 which is my fav atm though it's a bit abrasive you can get used to it, although it might need breaking in. This one is a lot smoother and smells like a new tennis ball when you open it up. Sticking to my Aqua Control 2 for now and will keep this one benched Edit: Energon is now glued to my desk lol great pad!
If you want a 500x500 version of it, just take a look when the Dornfinger Destroyer restocks. If we call this an Atlantis, the EGG XM1 would be the DF Destroyer ;)
Maybe when it restocks and is available, that being said Lamzu is making me a 500x500 after I kept harassing them for one so maybe no destroyer for me :P
@@its_yifang No matter which branding, it's an awesome pad. People should take what it's easier to get for them. Enjoy the bigger size. It's so much fun. Just to add: I'm using this pad for 3 month right now. There was only this little change in feeling of the surface after 2 weeks. Afterwards it was very constant. Keep up your good work. Very enjoyable reviewstyle. And easy to understand even as someone not that comfy with english.

Good work*
Love mine as well, Don't want to use any other pad from now on. Great video
do you still use it? i bought a energon pro and it turned into a mudpad after a month and now i think about getting this one

If you were to use some dots skates (like xraypad jades) on the lamzu energon, would it scratch the bottom of the mouse if some pressure was applied?
surprisingly not really in my experience, probably due to energon unique surface material.
how is it after some time? i bought a energon pro and loved it but it turned into a mudpad after a month. maybe this one is better?
Nah Energon Pro is better than regular Energon for this.
@@its_yifang aight thx. Guess no endgame pad for me then :/

I was thinking of getting the Spyre Loque but maybe now I should wait for a Lamzu Energon Pro instead? Any update on when to expect it?

My energon hasn't arrived yet but if I prefer it over my Hein I'll definitely buy a more premium and bigger version
another review from the goat
How this pad compare to lgg venus pro ,is this pad faster than lgg venus pro?
Feels faster to me but I find it very hard to describe. I don't think its possible for someone to not like this pad though, you should try one.
Is this pad coated? E.g. will it need replacing after 2 months like a GSR or something?
No this is not a coated pad.
Is this too fast for games like valorant or csgo? Im afraid that it has too little stopping power and I wont be able to get used to it since i have been using a qck that is quite slow.
I think it's fine but it's ultimately up to how good you are and if you will be able to adjust

More stopping power then aqua control II? I like the aqua controls speed but it’s stopping power is really low and holding me back
@@WorldKeepsSpinnin yeah it has more stopping power.

how is the microadjustments in energon compared to AC 2?
Lamzu Energon vs LLG saturn ?
Different pads with different speeds and control, can't just say one over the other. I main Energon though!
love your vid. cheers
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good review. How does this compare to Lgg saturn?
Saturn is a slow control pad, this is much faster!
