    I don’t think anyone is coming at Nas cuz he wants to be a Christian, It’s the disrespect. Coming with a humble heart knowing you are a sinner in need of a savior needs to be the heart posture, but saying you can suck d*** on the same knees you pray to God to is blasphemy. This exactly why they play with our faith bc we don’t hold nobody accountable.

      1 Corinthians 15:1-4 NLT - Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you-unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.

    As a 65 y/o widow in poor health, knowing my end is near, I have begun searching for something to believe in. For the first time since I was a child going to Sunday School, I have looked to the Bible, God, and Jesus for what I am, where I am going, what I will become when I am no longer earthbound. I have never been able to embrace organized religion. But, I have always lived by the rules of kindness, generosity, love, fairness and treating others as I want to be treated. Your view of using the works of the Bible and Jesus to apply them to how we treat the extreme people of today who do things that make us immediately condemn them, has given me so much to think about and I'm so grateful to you for that. You are a wise and good man. Thank you.

      @@anubhabsen8113the gospel is literally all about spreading love and forgiving others because we're also sinners that need forgiveness. How is Jesus saying that we are saved a fear tactic? Also you don't know this person; it's rude to assume something about their life and tell them that they're wrong when you have no idea what's going on with them. Praying for them and flat out telling them they're being too pessimistic are two different things

      AMEN SIS. This is ridiculous! We can pray for them and love them and still hold them accountable. There's no conviction in the church anymore. They are even preaching that there is no hell and God is just gonna forgive everyone. Just pure foolishness going on these churches these days. What lil nas x did was disgusting and blasphemes to say the least. Christianity is the only religion they play with like this. When Nicki Minaj performed at the Grammy mocking the Catholic church, they banned her for life. She had to speak about being blackballed to even be nominated. I'm disappointed in this video.

      Lil Nas X isn’t just a non Christian, but he’s mocking the one true God. We must expose this as evil and demonic because God says so. (Ephesians 5:11-14)
      We are the light of the world, a chosen race, a royal priesthood. Not on our account, but through Christ and Christ alone. We must urge people to repent and turn from their wickedness. If we treat this life as some sort of game, we mock God by doing so. We have been blessed with life, created in God’s image to worship God. It’s time we stand up to evil and doctrines of demons, expose it, and rebuke it in Jesus name. (1 Timothy 1:1-5)

      I'd be fearful to play with Jesus words and to take what he said to justify people behaving however they want and claim they are Christian without actually having faith in Jesus, Jesus stopped them from literally murdering a woman, not from calling people out on their sin, and idk but I highly doubt that lil Nas x truly wants to be Christian because if he did he wouldn't have tweeted what he tweeted let alone everything else he has done up to this point to disrespect God

    • @Mikeyt2000
      @Mikeyt2000 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There’s a difference in a repentant sinner who doesn’t promote their sins and someone who is happy about promoting their sin and doesn’t show a repentant heart. The Holy Spirit brings conviction and there’s no way that you can read your Bible, talk to God, receive conviction but also have a smile on your face and say you love the sin that Jesus attests. Im not saying that 100% hes against God or this is all fake but you have to use discernment because we have been warned about this and know the devil loves nothing more than to confuse people on Christianity. It blurs the difference in a believer and a non believer. If every believer had genuine joy, happiness and detested sin and wickedness, The difference would make non believers come to God on a deep level and truly give their whole life to him because they want whatever that person has. But when it’s so blurred and theres so much corruption with people who claim Jesus, how can you know that you need to go deeper than surface level Christianity or that it’s even worth it at times.

  • @CCMorgan
    @CCMorgan ปีที่แล้ว +49

    Part of the uproar is due to a battle over the definition of sin. There are forces at work - including inside the church - that are trying to say that certain things are not sin at all. That needs to be openly addressed.

    it has been forgotten in this social media era that to have the right to chastise and call out another's wrongdoing one needs to have a relationship with that person. We must know them intimately. Otherwise we don't have a right to judge. We are first to love and overlook, not knowing the person or his/her intent. And here you are Lacrae doing just that. Let's create culture as you said so profoundly. Let our condemnation be silent and our love be LOUD.

      I understand, and this is a kind sentiment. In a perfect world, we would love to build relationships with everyone, but that may not reach everyone. We may not have time to, much less even tomorrow. For it is written, Proverbs 27:1, for it is written “Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth”.
      It is wonderful and a supreme luxury that you have had this opportunity. I am beyond joyful that you have. Everyone may not have this chance. We must ask ourselves: how many people may Lil Nas X lead astray in potentially getting truly to Christ? Who will be there equally for those he influences?

      And part of actual loving is helping people to actually repent and turn away from destructive sins and lifestyle choices...like not only engaging in repulsive homosexual acts, but having literal pride in it to top it off, or "affirming" that, that is the polar opposite of actual love, its like a parent who never punishes there child when they misbehave or etc because they think that is "loving" or don't want to be mean" etc etc etc etc etc, but that is not genuine love/loving, it's really really not, now yeah will see how it goes and of course hopefully one day this rapper who literally made a music video of him and datan sodomizing eachother- will actually repent accept christ.a genuine conversion, and stop having pride in said sins and engaging in them outright with sinful pride, but in the meantime you cannot simultaneously openly brag about continuing to have sex with other deviant men, and simultaneously claim to be a "Christian" ya know.

    Lecrae, Lil Nas is no longer claiming to be a sinner or being non Christian. Instead, he is claiming to be a Christian now.
    Therefore, if that’s case now like all of us who name the name of Christ, there has to be accountability. This incomplete take is not doing Lil Nas a favor. Nor doing the faith any favor.
    Letting kats think you can become a follower of Christ and still live the old life. It Betrays 2 Cor 5:17.
    I support you, respect and appreciate you but sometimes I understand why some believers have issues with you. Incomplete takes like this gives people reasons to get at you. 😔

    At 22:46, I believe brother Lecrae is off with his interpretation about the "eye of a needle." It was not a "gate" despite what some "historians" may say. We must remember to pay close attention to what Scripture says in context. It was at least possible to get a camel through a "gate" in Israel, but what Jesus spoke of was the "eye" of a sewing needle.
    How do we know for sure? Look at the immediate context: "When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?" But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." [Mat 19:25-26 NKJV] The context clearly speaks of what is "impossible" with men but that is possible with God. A camel (one of the largest animals in the East at that time) going through the eye of a sewing needle (one of the smallest openings in the East at that time) certainly fits the category of things impossible with human beings.
    So the context tells us what Jesus was referring to, and it was not any hypothetical gates in Israel. Jesus was using what's called oriental hyperbole to emphasize how difficult it was for the rich to enter the kingdom. More study and closer attention to the details of Scripture is needed, brother Lecrae.

One of the statements crae said a while ago always comes to mind, people need grace and space. The other thing is for me to have come to seek Jesus it took my world to be rocked with the death of my dad. All that to say we just need to keep praying for their seek and a heart to receive.

We should tell others about the love of Christ, and we can help them go to war with sin once they become a Christ follower. The subscriber analogy is a great logical point.
