- A series of mysterious electrical vortexes have been appearing all over town. They have been produced by a man with incredible powers who now is starting to use them to revolt against the people who have done him wrong.

Sent to investigate a strange situation on a possibly habitable planet, Dr. Evan Marshall (Larry Pennell) discovers the scientific team sent there is now dominated by a human mutant (Warren Oates) who can exist without sleep and kill by touch!

Donald Pleasance was an amazing actor
My exact first thought as I watched this clip.

This was the first Outer Limits episode I ever saw. I was probably about seven at the time. It is also the first time I can remember ever seeing Donald Pleasance.

Well, Mr. Pleasance sure had an awesome career! I only just now learned that he was born British!
Not only that, he was in the RAF during WW2, shot down and was a POW of the Germans. Oddly enough, he played the role of a POW in "The Great Escape".
@@stevemartin6144 Wow!!! My gosh, that is impressive. I'm wondering (and I wouldn't be surprised) if his amazingly stoic demeanor that he can command (and does so eloquently in many of his roles) helped save his life while in the POW camps. Sort of a Zen kind of thing maybe. In any event, definitely an impressive being!
