Yes.. I saw the email today.. but I saw these videos BEFORE I saw the email.. Wow.. no advance notice.. I was caught UNAWARE. Just BAM.. X3 available NOW!!! Like Whoa!! =)
No, don't worry dude - I didn't want to hear what they sound like alone. I love it when you talk the entire time while they play in the background so I can't actually tell what they sound like. That's cool.
X3 Producer is amazing. with my x64 system & using ONLY x64 plugins. LOVE. (and now Maschine 2 comes out in a few weeks!!!). the guy's voice in the video is something. it's funny to hear him say "tweak"
Ah I see. My bad! When I saw the video I saw your comment was a few hours old so I felt inclined to tell you as a Sonar user. I'll probably upgrade in a few months, but what do you think about Gibsons intent to buy?
I been using Cakewalk since back when Windows was 3.0. It seems that all the videos are mainly informative videos without real instructions on how do produce music quickly. It's difficult to get anything done when all you're shown are the Functions that are available but not how to do them in a working situation.
I own a copy of sonar x3 and it came with addictive drums 2. And i think it is amazing i love it. There are stil a few things that i would like to see changed in sonar. for one the step sequencer is just not that easy to work with. It is missing smal but important things like sending each line to his own channel. Drag and drop samples. And names of the instrument instead of c4 i would like to see kick
I think it's bad news.. BUT hopefully I'm wrong. I wasn't thrilled when Roland bought Cakewalk few years back but that panned out OK...I hope I'm wrong.. as X2.. and NOW X3 are incredible and I hope Gibson does NOT interfere and let the Bakers do their thing. They are onto something great now with Sonar.
I can't get x3 to recognize addictive drums at all, though it downloaded as a stand alone module on my desktop. I can't use it on x3 at all. Any tips you can give me?
It's not really bundled. They give you a registration code and you have to use the XLN Online Installer which doesn't work. So Cakewalk needs to be clear on this word Integration. I was looking forward to trying this, but EZ Drummer to the rescue!
can someone tell me what mode/settings I should setup my korg m50 for use with the addictive drums? seq mode? channel 10? am a noob so any help would be greatly appreciated...thxz!
melodyne, addictive, nomads, aas acoustic. My goodness I can already see myself playing with these toys for hours! :D

If you check your email it's already available. Upgrade from Sonar X2 Producer is $149 but the new features and plugins alone justify the amount.

Yes. He did. X3 must be just around the corner. I guess, we'll see it soon.

Write to support of XLN, they will offer something for you as compensation...
SAYS X1 LESSON NOT X3
The voice over sounds terrible.
