Yup. Oni-chan is slang as well, a big brother is called aniki, which is also used by the yakuza so one would figure Korone of all people would know about that. I've never heard a word for middle brother though, and it would be interesting to learn why brothers are referred to as demons in an affectionate way. There sure are a lot of animes presenting demons and devils in a positive light as well, quite uncomfortable. Edit: "Onii-chan", despite the similarity to oni, supposedly no relation. Here's another; onigiri, demonic riceballs. Edit 2: The o in onigiri is an honorific and the same goes for oniichan, explained in detail further down.

You know this does bring up an interesting thought. Because of anime fandom there is actually a good chunk of japanese words and phrases that the majority of western Hololive viewers already know, and are essentially memes in of themselves, but there's really no way for them to know what words are common knowledge in our culture. It makes you wonder what English words and phrases are super common in certain fandoms in other cultures/languages.
I love when the japanese say brother or sister as frequently as a sibling honorific. It sounds so silly when you're used to just yelling "hey fuckass, get in here"
