I took my dad, who'd seen Pink Floyd twice in the '70's to see them a year before he passed. He thought it was the greatest thing he'd ever seen. Best move I ever made in my life.

Well As I Traveled To Cincinnati Last Year To See Them @ The Historic Taft Theatre. It Was Indeed..One Of The Finest Performances I've Ever Seen!
Batboy Carroll Indeed. I NEVER thought I could appreciate any Tribute bands at all. Then I heard Brit Floyd & Australian Floyd, where lead guitarist Damien Darlington, originally got his start. Damien, after leaving the Aussie band, truly refined the sounds and nuances in Brit Floyd. So impressed with them on TH-cam, I traveled to Cincinnati last year to see them @ the historic Taft Theatre. Though a smaller venue, Brit Floyd played well over Two Hours. The sound system & light show were unbelievable! I want to go see them yet again!
wvufreak56 They jad BETTER play at least 2 hours... the original Floyd did 4 hour sets on the regular. I had a ticket to see them in Oakland in '94 for the Division Bell album... I had the ticket, was at the venue but.... I did not get in. My ticket was inside with friends who made it there first (the one friend driving that car lost us on the freeway... trying to race his mom mobile against a '94 Mustang... I was a bit irritated).
At least it sounded awesome and I found a guy outside that at least smoked a J with me... sober me was only getting more and more irritated the longer I had to sit outside and think about what went wrong and how this happened.
I did not know this was even a thing!!! Now I must go see them!!! Closest thing we are going to get to seeing live Floyd now... though, some would argue the band died when Waters split... And Waters is WAY TOO damned political for me to even sit through one of his show renditions... And when I say political... I don't mean lije what fueled alot of his songs from back in the day. I mean the kind of political he would have written an album against back in said day!
I just got to see them here in Pittsburgh & it was really amazing. Took my 14 year old who loves the music, glad he could experience it live!
Brit Floyd is 99.9% as good as Pink Floyd was in their prime. I saw them live last year. One of the best live performance I have ever seen.

I've heard a lot of bands try, and ultimately fail while trying to cover Pink Floyd. You're the only ones I know of who have managed to capture the "essence" that is Pink Floyd. Great job guys!

In my opinion this song is the greatest thing ever put to music by anyone, anywhere, anytime... ever. This is a masterpiece. I love the way Gilmour stretches his notes in this song, you have captured that. I'm IMPRESSED.
This band pays tribute to pink Floyd, it's the best thing that has ever been organized. With the permission of the genuine Pink Floyd, they leave in very good note the songs are fantastic

This here might be Waters' most moving and "profound," lyrics. Even with repeated listening they still bring a tear to my eyes. Aptly followed by the superb and (nearly) wordless masterpiece that is the Great Gig in the Sky.

I have seen this awsome group live and have seen roger and david and the boys and if you actually listen they very true to the real pink floyd music ....i would gladly pay to see them again in concert!!! If you never see them you have missed a real treat!

I've seen them twice at Red Rocks. Some of the best concerts I've ever seen. They and their chorus are epic. If only PF would play RR and I could get tickets. Colorado loves Brit Floyd in concert at Red Rocks. Welcome anytime.
It's incredible how they apply faithfully the partition as dedicated pupils. I think that's a deep proof of respect, for those so talented musicians who would naturally try to create over it ... but maybe it's only a sort of devotion for those perfect melodies!

Capturing the essence of the covered music eludes many a tribute band, but not this one. Incredible. You have to admire the discipline it takes to sound albumesque.
Bobby Harrison completely slayed that guitar solo. Almost had an eargasm with those perfect riffs!! Shame that he's left the band now. A talent like him is a rarity.
What's his replacement like?
The band had many, since then. They all did/do the job, but, as far as I'm concerned....none of 'em compared to David.

Just saw them a week ago. TH-cam doesn't do this quite the justice. Granted this was 6 years ago. The live shows are something else. I definitely want to go again.
