Ocon is fairly rated, imo, because at Alpine, he consistently clocks in points for the team and has been doing that for quite some time now.
But he crashes into his teammate too much, the only reason he didn't crash into Ricciardo is because Ricciardo was too far ahead

Ok I’m going to speak strath facts maybe some will agree but I think more will disagree :
1st Senna is not underrated at all, everyone says he’s in the top 3 best driver in the history, so in my opinion he’s slightly overrated…
2nd point : Ocon is over hated I mean he did better than Alonso last season but everyone said he was shit (which he didn’t deserve)… Who said it was one of the best driver of the grid, nobody, and everyone trash him so to my mind he is really underrated…

In 2017 2018 2020 and in 2021 all the years he was in F1 lost against his team mate, And in 2018 and 2020 Pérez and Ricciardo done the double of points. In 2022 Alonso lost 2 engines in the first 3 races and then the engine of Fernando was limited in performance, also Ocon was the only driver of the two to have a 4 engine. Ocon was in 2022 favored all season long. And also Alonso had 6 retirements for reliability vs 2 of Ocon, and also Fernando had problems with the engine in qualy. Ocon is a loser. He deserves much more hate. And the most important thing is that Ocon is French 🇫🇷🤢🤢🤮🤮

@@sector98 Overrated. He does belong among the greats, but he was quite evenly matched with Prost who is not nearly as highly rated as Senna. I don't think Senna's legacy would be close to what it is today had he not so famously died in his crash in 1994

I find him very overrated. I'm sorry it's just my opinion. He had his car balance suited to his driving style, and he was also a dirty driver. I am a Lewis Hamilton fan and I am fully aware that his Mercedes balancing had suited his driving style, but that's 50 times better than having to take out your rivals to win championships

Senna's legacy wouldn't even be close as to what it is now had he not so famously crashed and died in 1994. He was not clearly ahead of the competition within or outside of his team, having very close seasons and battles particularly with Prost. I think Senna and Prost are at about the same level, whereas Senna is overrated and Prost is fairly rated or perhaps a bit underrated

Completely agree about Ocon.
Senna is most certainly not underrated. This is probably going to burn a lot of people but he lies practically in between fairly and over rated at the peak of his career when he died. He's worshipped like a legend not only because of his death and what it did for the sport but also his skill as a racing driver so most certainly not underrated at all. Unfortunately the legendary status people give him needed longevity which simply cannot be proved because of his untimely death, hence why he's neither fairly nor overrated but in between.
I don't think Senna is underated and I think Prost is criminaly Underrated.

Same here. Esteban is the most overrated driver on the grid by far. Some people literally think he’s world champion. Only scraped past Alonso while nandos car blew up every 2 races and is the absolute worst teammate ever. His only win was due to bottas taking out 3 of the strongest competitors for the win (himself, checo and max) while Hamilton was put on a terrible strategy and still needed chadlonso to defend against him. He was incredibly lucky that fernando decided to help him and in return he spends the entirety of last season trying to impede him
