Its soooo hard to take her seriously because of her role as Orla! Its funny hearing her have a conversation without her saying something bat shit crazy 🤣
Series is great, acting is great, story is great, only complaint is the SOUND BALANCE IN THIS INTERVIEW. Please never go 100% left or 100% right with anything.
All shows written by men for men, didn’t know parts like this existed? Where the hell have yall been for the last decade? Indianan jones is female lead now, every single show Disney makes without fail is 100% down with the patriarchy female everything and one white guy as the villain lol
Not in the UK or Ireland It's very very different but even in america I would imagine if a role like this came up, in 2 years of applying for auditions, it would be difficult just to get the role
here we go again with the feminism though, cant we just concentrate on it being a really good show? i don't care if it was written by a chimpanzee as long as its good, and it was. im disabled, i dont need 'my people' to be everywhere.
what an odd comment. sorry to be the one to bust your bubble but women are at at the heart of this show. that's what it talks about, and the perspective from which it's written is one of a woman who likes to write about them andd does it really well. what's the problem with that? as for "one's people", i'm a queer woman, I need my people to be everywhere, because well, we are everywhere
@@lexshizumdot2115 first part of your reply i agree with everything you said, women are at the heart of the show, and yes its written by a woman who does it really well, there is no problem with that. It is as i said a really good show, thats all that matters to me, why can't it just be about that?. but re 'ones people' i dont need mine to be everywhere because were not, like, less than 10% of the uk population has a disability, i'm literally the only disabled person everyone i know knows, i don't even know many others and i like it like that. i have no need to be a member of some disability club because im about more than the wheelchair im sitting in. i just think art should mirror life. its like the thing at work, you have to have a certain amount of people from minority groups in your employment, its bull, i dont want to be employed just because i'm disabled, i want to be employed because im the best for the job.
This is era is all about “ Give a chance to women” I don’t mind women leading in any roles. But I hate it when they don’t deserve it. Look at the video “ a woman and an Asian man. It’s obvious they are advertising minorities” Cinema is dead!!
Yes, that's an era about "what if we stopped making those numb and boring stories that revolve only around totally uninteresting men". turns out this era is quite good, and so fun.
Louisa, and the entire cast, were amazing in this show. Louisa as Orla in Derry Girls was probably my favorite character.
This is a absolute gem of a show. A must see. Please we need season two.
Totally agree with you 💯
Louisa is an amazing actress. The show is quite enjoyable. Mix of dark fantasy plus outlaw humor ala Robin Hood.
What a gem of a show! Absolutely adorable.
I love this show!! I need season 2 asap!!
Excellent show! Love watching Nelly kick ass!!! Wonderful actor. Great fight scenes, funny with a great cast, and story.

She should be the next Dr Who.
Oh my! I would love to see her as but you how the rest of the fandom works.😔
i just watched this, finished last night, i need more of it!, hoping for that season 2.
GREAT INTERVIEW 😊😊😊😊😊
I loved it!!! :)))
I so hope this gets a second season. Great fun

Very good show, great actors, funny, layered story and characters, clever. I wish there is a season two.
Also it makes incels mad
Anyway talking about the program is surprisingly good
She's Irish does a British voice then season 1 episode 4 back to The Irish accent brilliant
You didn't know parts like this existed, you expect me to believe that you've been Amish and not been watching anything DIZNEE?

This show would probably still be going if not for the ridiculous stunt casting.
Lol! Hot garbage. "Durrr never been a strong Mary Sue character before lol!
"Martial arts"
Then what are you doing here?

Which shows that the new actors have no sense of cinema history or literature. What a stupid concept.
Woke trash was terrible.
Looks like we have a whiner here
She's so unlikable
